My wife Lori and I worked with Diane to sell our home in Cary, NC, during Spring of 2017. Her guidance was successful by any measure, as we sold the house on the first day for $20k over market.
We had used realtors to buy and sell properties five prior times. Each of these experiences was positive, but working with Diane was different. She really strives to do better and do more. Here are some ways Diane helped us:
She gave us excellent, targeted advice about how to prepare our house for sale. Our house had some deferred maintenance, and we could have spent tens of thousands making it perfect. However, with careful advice from Diane and her team (including a home inspector and an interior designer), we used a moderate budget and a lot of sweat equity to bring out the best aspects of the home. (After we were done it was hard to give it up, honestly.)
She worked like crazy on our behalf. My wife and I both have demanding jobs that leave us with little time or energy. Diane kept the process moving with constant energy, arranging appointments, developing a marketing plan, and keeping us on task. Moreover, she noticed and dealt with every detail: an incorrect square foot measure in our county registry; a misprint in our deed; and hundreds of small details we’d have overlooked.
She developed a marketing plan that was informed and nuanced. Diane sweated the details by optimizing our listing details and pricing to get traffic. She carefully picked a specific day to take the listing live, and socialized our listing among her peers and clients. The amount of interest that Diane developed in the home was amazing.
Diane is a total professional. But she’s also a lovely, honest, dynamic person, a real pleasure to work with. Do yourself a favor and hire Diane...you will not be sorry!
