I have bought my BMW 328i from BMW of Fremont last month. Richard really helps me a lot for this. He explains the functions of different packages very clearly with both advantages and disadvantages, and try to figure out which model fits me best. We met with a competitive deal very quickly and he helped me a lot with the financing part which makes it possible that I take the car very quickly.

Emailed Richard at Bmw of fremont about a X5 I saw. Within hours he emailed me back and took time out of his personal schedule (had to pick up his kids but called someone else) to allow me to test drive the car. After test driving I wanted to think about the price a bit and with no pressure he allowed me to drive the car again. He is VERY easy to work with and after finally agreeing on the price, he went above and beyond to find floor mats for my car as well as AUX jack. He also noticed a scratch and told his manager who agreed to have it fixed for me ASAP. Take the time to go to BMW Fremont and go see RIchard Qian.

I stopped by BMW of Fremont on a week day during my lunch time just to test drive a car which I searched through craigslist. I met Richard, told him what I was looking for and what I didn't want. He listened and then he showed me the car which I first enquired that looks perfect car for me. We test drove it and RIchard help me getting the price from his manager, same price I initially quoted. This was quickest deal that I ever made and I am happy for the price that I paid for my car I couldn't believe how courteous, professorial he was. He is Good Sales Manager and other staff who I dealt with were equally good.

Richard is a very good person to work with. When I placed my car order I realized I need to make some modifications on it (which was hard since the order was finalized)-- he helped me call the car company directly and changed it. He was approachable and replied to my emails quickly along the period when I was waiting for the car to come and worried about the little things that could go wrong.

Our car buying experience with Richard was very smooth and not rushed. He allowed for me and my family to look at various cars and options and left us alone to think and discuss. No pushy salesman tactics were employed so it left us stress free to decide on the car and the options we wanted. When it came down to price he gave us the best offer possible. There were no multiple negotiations or secret trips to the back office.
Overall a very good experience and I would recommend talking to Richard first before signing on the dotted line. I also personally liked the fact that he always made himself available for any questions we may have with a smile and a straight forward answer.

I have purchased and leased dozens of cars in my life and I absolutely hate to play a game with the salesmen. Richard was straight forward. I sent him an email asking him for his best price. The same email was sent to three other dealers. I went to the lowest one for the same car. That simple.
Plus he has a pleasant personality. I absolutely do not care for pushy salesmen.
I am a middle aged man with an attitude and there are many baby boomers like me out there. So, good luck Richard. I will come back to you again any time.

Richard Qian is the best sale rep I've met (I have 15 years of driving history and purchased 5 cars) he's very knowledgable on BMW cars, and can explain very clearly about detailed specs on different models, historical design changes, inside and out. Most importantly, he is very honest, pays very close attention to what exactly customer is looking for and cares about. He suggests the best buying options which is good for customer. If you are looking for a BMW and a great sales specialist who knows and loves his beamer, Richard is the go-to guy! He was an absolute pleasure to do business with. I originally came in to purchase a black 2011 328i with just a premium package but he showed me a similar vehicle in space gray, fully loaded with a premium sport package for an even better price! Richard took us for a test drive and I was super ecstatic! I could not walk out of the dealership without this beauty. I just bought a brand new BMW 528i from BMW Fremont, with the help of Richard Qian, who is the Internet Sale Manager at Fremont. Highly recommend Richard to anyone who wants to experience an easy car buying process.
I knew of Richard through the Internet quotation a few months back, made an appointment with him and showed up to test drive a 528i.
He is very easy going, did not put any sale pressure on me, totally different from what I used to experience from Toyota’s sale persons many years back.
He is pretty knowledgeable on the car, especially he was working for Mercedes Benz prior to BMW, so he has the comparison knowledge of both. This was especially helpful to me as I was swinging between BMW and MB.
When we tested drive the car, Richard only accompanied in the car once, the rest times he just let us drive and play with the car, total felt no pressure from the usual sales-man.
The price negotiation was much easier than I had experienced before from Toyota. Richard actually was helping us to get the price reduction we wanted from the sales Manager.

Richard was honest and returned e mails and my phone calls right away. I came from SF having many different options closer to where I live but I trusted Richard. I asked for a specific color and make. Richard did better he found a car with very low mileage. My car looks like one of a kind with its rims and tinted windows I see cars like mine but mine is better he made sure car was nice and clean and w/ a full tank of gas. I purchased my 750iL about a week ago from BMW of Freemont and I love it!! My sales rep, Richard Qian and I began communicating about the vehicle a week prior because I live in Sacramento, which is a good 100 miles... He provided me all the information and stayed on top of things. I could not get out to Freemont until that Friday, but Richard was so helpful, that he answered all my questions about the vehicle, and he even took care of financing options for me in the event that I would want to leave with the car when I came. He spent a lot of time going back forth getting a good deal for me since I was doing this via email/phone with him. He had all the information for me as far as financing options and then Friday when I got there the vehicle was already pulled out front waiting for me. I took it for a test drive and just fell in love it with it.
The fact that Richard made everything so easy for me and and wasn't like some pushy car salesman really made me feel better. He explained all the options of the vehicle, and was pleasant.

I talked to Richard for about a week before having placed the order, he had the best prices in the area to work with. There wasn't much haggling which I liked as it exceeded my expectations for the custom ordered 2011 e92 M3. He responds fast to e-mail and also was able to meet after hours on his day off. I initiated internet requests for quote to five dealers through Edmunds, and none responded with the combination of options I wanted. Four of the five (including Richard Qian) responded with offers for similar cars, but they all lacked at least one essential option. Two of the dealers offered to acquire the right vehicle through a dealer swap, and one had the right car still on a transport ship expected in about 10 days, but Richard was the first to say he had what I wanted, in transit (truck) for delivery the next day. He then provided a detailed quote, at a fair price, with no surprises. The next day we saw the car, test drove two demos, to compare sport and standard suspension, closed the deal and took delivery all in an afternoon. The process went smoothly and efficiently. Richard did an excellent job of finding the right car and coordinating the transaction, and has followed up after the sale to ensure satisfaction.

I purchased a CPO 335I convertible for my wife over the 4th of July weekend. Richard Qian handled my sale with perfection.Richard worked hard, responded to emails on his off days, and answered all questions that I had. I was really pleased by the fact that the entire deal was done through email. Richard was more than willing to give me a price over the Internet. Our experience with Richard of BMW Fremont was nothing but the best; he keeps in contact with you regarding updates, he makes sure you are very happy at every step of the car buying process, and he offers the best price around. I found a 2007 Honda civic here at BMW of Fremont for a really good price. Richard was quick to help and bent over backwards to meet my expectations. I bought a 2011 528i from Richard on Nov. 2010, one week ago, it shows batterry very low, I bring the car to Fremont BMW service dept. , after they checked they say need to change a new batterry but I had to pay $400 for it cause BMW warranty deny to pay for it because my car only drove about 3k miles. After I talked to Richard, he help me reported to his GM then they waived that $400. this is only one small thing happaned after I my purchase, actually everything about my 528i, Richard give me 100% full respond and everthing got solved.
