Pat and Soraya
Initially, we were referred to Jeannet as part of the Hometown Home Loan program for UW employees. This was all fine and good (and came with some nice discounts), but it very quickly became clear that we were going to stick with Jeannet for reasons other than just the UW-related perks. Jeannet is an outstanding professional and differentiated herself from her peers time and time again, throughout our time dealing with her. We will keep this brief, even though much more could be said:
1) Jeannet is friendly, positive, and proactive. We brought her an extremely complicated case, as we are Canadians buying a home in the US and this comes with a raft of associated difficulties. Jeannet handled the situation with aplomb. When she encountered something she didn't know how to deal with, she always found us an answer within a reasonable timeframe.
2) Jeannet is highly competent and astute. On several occasions, she reached out to discuss issues that we might not have considered and offered potential solutions. When we had been quiet for a while, she reached out to make sure things were still on track, but she did so in a way that was kind and non-confrontational. This is a person who is very good at her job.
3) Jeannet is an empathetic person who looks out for her clients. Due to issues with a different bank, we had an eleventh-hour scare with our financing. The first person we called when we realized this might be an issue was Jeannet. Her first reaction was to put our minds at ease by reassuring us that she was "on it" and poised to go far beyond her normal duties to make sure we got the deal done. Then, over the next 12 hours, she worked non-stop with us over phone, secure email, and text – brainstorming solutions, listening to us vent our anxieties and frustrations, and eventually helping us navigate the difficult situation successfully.
In 30 years when we look back on the day we bought this house, we will remember many things. One of them will be the extraordinary support and service we received from Jeannet. We give her our most enthusiastic endorsement.
