We were looking for house since quite some time until we met Ian. He made us visit our dream home and guided us through the acquisition process. Everything went smoothly thanks to him and he took care of the appraisal while we were on a business trip. Ian then went an extra step giving us excellent contractor contacts after we bought the house. I highly recommend Ian, he is passionated, honest, professional, and also very friendly. I can't say enough great things about Ian. 2 years ago we purchased a house in San Jose. Ian was the listing agent at that time. Fast forward 2 years and because of a job relocation we were in the seller’s seat and looking for an agent that knew the downtown San Jose area. Our home was also a multi family residence so it had quite a bit of additional red tape. Ian made the process as easy as it could possibly be. Prior to the sale, Ian took care of home photos, video, staging, and countless hours of hand holding for us. Ian sold our home in record time -- before it even went on the market. Ian was always there to provide a better education on the house, area, current value, future values and provided some key info to make some important decisions on finalizing few decisions. He is always there to respond to any questions any time and his knowledge and assessment are very good, which was key for the right price negotiated on this property. We were about put a 15K more on this and his judgement/assessment of market has saved this amount for this house.
Other important key factor was his marketing strategy. I liked his approach which is buyers choice being 100%. He never hurried the decision or he never provided a biased assessment to get to his goal of getting a property.
He is very supportive in providing quick contacts to the contractors, bank loan officers, which was immense help in making quick judgement and loan closure for this house.

I purchased a Condo in Sunnyvale recently and Ian helped me through the process and did a wonderful job. He was always made time to show me condos and houses during the week and went the extra mile to understand what I was looking for and recommend condos accordingly.
The market was pretty competitive and I had two bids rejected. In both cases if I'd listened to what he said it was likely we would've gotten our bid accepted. We finally closed on a lovely condo and he was really helpful and handled the whole process very professionally.

We met Ian through the Intero website when a few properties we were interested in got listed in the market.
Ian was amazingly patient and dedicated to the cause of finding us a house till we laid eyes on the right one, till we got the "feeling" you get when you walk into a place.
We'd meet him almost everyday of the week after work hours to go house searching. And it amazed me how patient he was with us! Being very nitpicky about the house we'd buy, we went through at least 50 houses. And if there was any other real estate agent, I think they would've abandoned us long ago. But not Ian Batra!
Another wonderful trait he has is his amicable personality. He would instantly charm the seller's agents, immediately putting us in the good books of the sellers, thereby increasing our chances of winning the bidding wars.

I have been searching for an estate style home in Saratoga. Ian took me out and showed me a few properties, I plan on using him to purchase my property. He was driving us around and showed us how the backstreets connect , and seems to have a lot of knowledge about Saratoga and all the shortcuts. My wife and I need a space and a high end kitchen that we can entertain guests and host parties. Ian knows a lot about appliances, layouts, and building materials. He also offered to set me up with contractors who can remodel if we find a house that we like, but is not perfect for our needs.

My husband and I know Ian Batra and his wife Laura for 5 years and we sort of mention to him that we have an interest in selling our house in Sunnyvale. He then made a point of making an appointment to come to our home and just checking out the entire house. Within the span of one month or two our house went on the market. The open house came and went and within one week, we had multiple offers. Before we knew it we had to make our decision to an offer with which we gladly accepted and so we are on our way to our new home.
