Here is where one would normally brag about what a great agent they are, before I do that I would like to tell you the type of agent I'm not.
I am not the typical agent that spends 80% of their day cold calling and door knocking to increase their client base. That is what we are taught to do. It makes perfect sense to me that I should instead, spend my time helping my sellers prepare and market their homes to obtain the highest price while making the transaction as seamless as possible. When working with buyers that time can be spent previewing every listing that fits their wish list and educating them along the way about the home buying process, while working to get their offer negotiated and accepted above the others. By focusing my time on my wonderful clients instead of my personal marketing and ego is my way of obtaining referral and repeat business. Sure I've received some impressive awards for sales and production, however that's not the result of plastering my face on advertising campaigns and leaving flyers on doorsteps it's from focused hard work and referrals from my clients. Besides, I would much rather work with a referred client than a stranger from a cold call.
As for me, I'm a Silicon Valley native that was born in Palo Alto, raised in Mountain View and have since lived in most of the cities between Palo Alto and Los Gatos as well as the Santa Cruz Mountains. I have a 20 year old son studying business at West Valley College who will be transferring soon to San Jose State.
