I started the process of buying my home with someone else that I had known for a few years, usually that works out, this time it didn’t. I got referrals from my lender and as soon as I sat down with Joan I knew I was in good hands. She listened to my experience to date, asked relevant and intelligent questions, and we made a game plan for moving forward with my purchase. She works incredibly hard for her clients and her communication is top tier. When following behind her on the way to see different properties she was still working but not once did I ever get the feeling that I wasn’t her top priority when we were together. She worked flawlessly around my schedule and always called ahead to make sure that there wasn’t something with the property that made it a bad fit for me and what I was looking for so we didn’t waste any time. Joan has also been an appraiser so walking a property with her and her insight is incredibly valuable to any buyer. On top of that, she and her husband are in the same office so you have the added benefit of a second set of eyes or hands to help as well as the full Keller Williams backing. Having the right person to help you through this process is vitally important and Joan is the best. Where she really shines is negotiating, watching her eyes light up when submitting an offer (or receiving one for her seller) and knowing she is going to get the best deal possible just reaffirms her as the best choice for any real estate transaction. All i can say is having a great Real Estate Agent will make all the difference in your buying and selling experience. First, I was selling remote and Joan and her team went above and beyond in it only handling handymen and repairs required but also handling my garbage and bulk pickup. Secondly, my closing is what i would call disastrous. Joan kept me grounded, consistently reached out to the other agent and lender and a month later when i was ready to call the deal off - get it done. I cannot recommend Joan and her team enough. Knowing she was handling the deal from across the country, crying on the phone with her, to being a general friend and sharing a drink over photos, she will forever be in my life.
