     Rebecca Ann Gallardo is a career real estate consultant with Intero Real Estate in the greater community of Silicon Valley - San Jose, Calif.  A 25-year veteran of the real estate industry, she specializes in investor purchases, 1031 exchanges and first-time homebuyers. An advocate for sustainable homeownership and the Latino community, she has held leadership roles to advance these causes on a local, state and national level.

Gallardo was chairman of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (2008-2009) and served on the executive committee in various roles as vice chair, parliamentarian and secretary (2005-2007). As part of her national leadership role with the nonprofit trade group, she advocated housing policy among congressional leaders and government appointed officials in Washington D.C. and helped educate the real estate and lending community about the homeownership challenges of minorities through various industry events and trade and national press interviews.

As NAHREP’s chair, she also served on national advisory boards with First American Title Company, the National Association of REALTORS and the Asian Real Estate Association of America, where she championed changes that would improve service to Latino homebuyers and the business climate and educational tools for Hispanic REALTORS.
