As transplants and first time home buyers, we needed a realtor who could not only help us find the perfect Columbus neighborhood/home, but also make the process as easy as possible. Brad did both. The process was so easy in fact we ended up breaking our apartment lease because it all came together much quicker than we imagined!
Brad came highly recommended from a co-worker and after meeting him, it was clear why. Brad had all the qualities you look for in a realtor, but two things really set him a part from others we met. The first was his engineering background and renovation experience. The second was his desire to ensure we found a home we loved, without making a bad investment. He respected what a big purchase this would be for us and it was clear he wants his clients make money off their investment.
We were nervous going into the search because we had heard stories from recent home buyers about having lost 2-3 homes before finally getting their home. They told us this was common due to the current market, so we never expected to get the first home we put an offer on! We were in a multiple bid scenario and were able to win without paying over list price thanks to Brad’s creativity with adding other non-financial things to our offer to make it more attractive.
Thanks to Brad’s connections with people/companies needed for the various aspects of buying a house, the closing process was painless. He was able to recommend lenders and inspectors that allowed us to meet all necessary deadlines to close the house in 30 days. When we finally got the keys to our new house, we joked that the process was almost too easy, but we knew it was thanks to Brad.
We are so excited to finally have our first home together. Every time we come home, we fall more in love with it! We have plans for a few renovations over time and look forward to engaging Brad during them. His connection with clients doesn’t end after the closing and we are thankful for that.
