I often get asked how I was able to buy my first home in this current market and my response is Eli. We closed on a home back in January and the entire process from start to finish went smooth. Bill has been our buyers' representative on two occasions in the last 18 months. On the first purchase, Bill was able to negotiate a purchase price that both the seller and we were happy with, and avoided the uncertainties of competing bids. On the second purchase, Bill again negotiated a price that was advantageous to both parties. The second purchase had a few complications, and Bill worked steadfastly to resolve the issues and expedite the sale. I was referred to Bill by a client of mine and I was so happy with my experience. I put off looking for a realtor for a long time because the whole business really turned me off, I would go look at houses and get depressed by what I saw. I really wasn't sure if I could afford a house in the Bay Area, and realtors seemed pretty sleazy and greedy to me.
When the time came and I finally did get around to committing to buying a house, I'm so happy I called Bill. He is a smart, down to earth, all around good human being who met me in person to discuss my needs and what I was capable of. He works with a lot of buyers because he genuinely wants to make people's dreams come true. He treated me with warmth and respect, and never made me feel talked down to. Being a single woman, this meant a lot to me.
Once I began looking at houses, I had a lot of fun working with Bill. He is the kind of person who listens more than he speaks, which I think is very intelligent. He didn't try to get me to buy anything I wasn't into, and never tried to push me into anything. But when I eventually did find an affordable place that was an anomaly in the Berkeley, he worked very hard to get me my house. It was a rare situation where the sellers didn't have a realtor, the house was part of an estate, etc. I think if Bill wasn't so good at what he does (and hadn't also gained the seller's trust) I wouldn't have gotten the house. I really appreciate his finesse in dealing with the whole complicated situation. I have a feeling Bill is adaptive enough to finesse any situation in this crazy market. And ta-da! Can't believe it, but I now own a cute little house in Berkeley! It's a few months in and Bill still checks in to see how I'm doing and if I need anything. I would (and do) recommend Bill to anyone looking to buy a house in the Bay Area.

I have not used Bill's and Eli's services yet but I attended one of their "New Home Buyers Workshops" in March 2018 and was deeply impressed by their knowledge, professionalism and very pleasant demeanor (and frankly patience with me after bombarding them for over two hours with questions long after regular business hours).
I am not the type who goes with the first gut feel, but I can already tell that I will most likely speak to other realtors just to make me feel better about my choice and that I will end up working with Bill and Eli. Both do not only give you the sense of really knowing their stuff but also - what is so important in the real estate world - that they are genuine and trustworthy.
Besides my "impressions" I should also add the fact that they are looking to grow their business (hence workshop, etc.) and are very mindful of keeping and spreading their good reputation. So, also from this perspective I would be very surprised if they delivered anything but excellent service.

Bill has the necessary list of contacts which made it possible to accomplish what needed to be done in the 3 weeks to prep the property. Workers were ready to go on Day 1, during a time when most contractors have a 2-4 month lead time. The most valuable service provided by Bill was his time, focus and effort to the project. He lined up the work, coordinated everything, and was there to ensure the work was done. This enabled us to continue working our day jobs without needing to take off even 1 day. He even coordinated everything with the current renters.

Once the property was beautifully prepped, Bill put it on the market. He transformed our property from a fixer-upper to a gorgeous, desirable home. The photography and marketing materials were incredible. To our surprise, it was sold in 1 week at a price that far exceeded our expectations.

I closed on my house the beginning of June 2017 after working with Eli Fletcher for a few months. Not only is the market in Oakland fast and competitive, but we had a tight timeline in which to pull this off, but with Eli's help we were able to pull it off. Bill and Eli are where it's at!

My partner and I just sold our condo and then turned around and bought a home in a different neighborhood. We loved our old home and wanted to make sure it went to someone that would love it as well and be amazing neighbors to our dear friends around the neighborhood. We wanted to make sure whomever moved in would only add positivity, respect and understanding to or old neighborhood of West Oakland. We then turned around and went on a search for a new home that felt like us- less cement and more trees. Something with a garden, a studio space to make art, a room to make music, lots of trees, a place close to friends, a fire place, a great kitchen with a window above the sink, a back yard that would hold a load of friends that we could have lots of hangs around a fire with in rocking chairs and just overall a charming home that felt really good. Well.. with Bill and Eli's help- WE DID! Not only did the house literally have everything we wanted but even more including a vintage stove I can't lay my eyes, pots and pans off of AND beautiful views of the bay!! We literally did this all within a month. THAT is amazing and we are incredibly grateful. The Bay Area is one of thee hardest markets to buy in and we are just over the moon about how smooth everything went. It would not have been so easy without having sold our place for what we did and then having amazing realtors working with us the way they did.

We knew the moment we met Bill and Eli that they were our guys. We loved that they were family and had such a wonderful dynamic with each other and with us. We loved how they listened to what we wanted even down to the little details like - "We really need a tree in the front yard". Eli helped me to purchase my third home. He is without question the nicest, most reliable, and honest realtor I've ever worked with. He brought a level of personal caring to my experience that goes far beyond what's to be expected. My situation was rather unusual in that I live and work about three counties away from where I hoped to relocate. I appreciate how Eli worked out ways for the purchase to happen without me having to make multiple 4-hour round trip drives. I am especially grateful for how Eli took it upon himself to meet with the appraiser contracted by my mortgage company. Elijah Fletcher is an amazing agent. My wife and I were first time home buyers and Elijah was so thorough and intuitive with us. He always kept us informed and involved with up to date information. I don't think we would be in our home if it wasn't for Elijah and all his assistance. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge, Elijah is a great and funny individual. If you are are first time buyer or just looking to move to the Bay Area I highly recommend him.

Selling the family home was not an easy decision or without issues, but Bill and Eli did everything they could to make the process as painless and as profitable as they could. Worked with Bill & Eli when I bought my first house in the east bay. I can't imagine how the process would have worked without them. They were helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, patient and provided great advice. At the end of the day I ended up in a place that was perfect for me, even though when I started the process I would have ruled the place out!
