Thank you for selling our second home within as many opportunities this year. I knew our investment property would sell -- even though it was located in north Columbus, the school district of placement was the Westerville City Schools. You had a great assist there since the school district was one of the main features in selling that home in January of this year.
Yet, our most recent property really challenged you. Not only was it in Columbus, but it did not have the advantage of being attached to a suburban school district. Further complicating things is the fact that this home was well above ($306K) the median asking price for a home in Columbus ($185K). You know that we have had three other realtors try to sell this property in the three immediate summers preceding this one. As my wife said: “You worked harder than the others.”
What was most impressive is that you listened to us, then we formulated a game plan to sell the property and we stuck to our plan to reach the desired goal. After rejecting the first two low-ball offers, you didn’t pressure us to take just any offer. You understood we built this house, and this was our home. You knew we would stay until we felt we had a respectable/reasonable offer as we had the previous three summers. Your patience was a necessitated plus, yet your expertise has been golden.
Your diligent effort, aggressive marketing, negotiating skills, and willingness to take the time to explain all details, procedures and forms to my wife were welcoming. You took your time to make sure she was comfortable with every aspect of the process. You worked well with the other realtor in the transaction. You assisted in moving things efficiently along. You provided your expertise, and we balanced that with our desires to reach a win-win for both the buyer and the seller.
We would rate you a 10.0 out of 10. Your negotiation skills were needed to close the deal on the home we just purchased. When the deal seemed like it was going to collapse because the seller was trying to be extremely frugal by skimping on the radon detection system, you kicked in out of your pocket to make sure the deal got done. That's more than going the extra mile. You closed that deal and wouldn't take no for an answer. Kudos.
I know we might have been slightly demanding at times, but you were definitely the realtor extraordinaire for the job. You have closed multiple deals for us -- (now three (3), and we are pleased to recommend you candidly and truthfully to any potential clients. They need to know that you are passionate and good at what you do!
