I believe that Arnie is your best ambassador. This was a difficult move for me and my husband because we were coming from New Mexico and had to;
a. get over the sticker shock
b. adjust to moumental traffic
c. try to navigate a very convoluted real estate system/funding/taxing scenario
The challenge for Arnie was even more difficult given that my husband is a realtor in New Mexico and I was starting a new job, living in a hotel, learning the names of my 70 staff members, getting to know a university, etc., etc. etc. What the meant was I was grumpy at times and overwhelmed with lots of new stuff.
Arnie was patient, and understanding. But even more important, he was the guide and the shepherd through the process and down to earth and honest about the system, some errors by the title company, etc.
As you well know, employees are our most precious and difficult to find, train, and retain assets. Treat him well!

There were only 4 days from the time we decided to buy a new home until the day that offers would be reviewed. Arnie took our initial call on a Sunday evening and gave us an overview of what documents would be required. By mid-morning Monday, he gave us an initial assessment and by Wednesday afternoon, we had a loan commitment in hand to show to the sellers. This allowed us to make an offer without a financing contingency, which certainly made our offer more attractive to the sellers - they accepted our offer!
After that, the rest fell into place easily. Arnie shepherded our application through the underwriters and the "investor" (lender) and we closed in 30 days without a hitch. All this based on phone calls and emails. The first time I met Arnie in person was when he came with the notary to our former home to sign the closing documents.
I recommend Arnie highly. I have had several home purchases and refinances in the past. This was by far the easiest. Thanks!

We have used Arnie to refinance our house in Willow Glen. I was quite hesitant at first since all my refinancing deals were done through a friend. I walked into the Princeton Capital office where he worked just to see what other options we had. That’s when we met Arnie. It was tough switching from a friend but we took that chance and never regretted it. Arnie was quite proactive in getting the work done on time in spite of the new regulations put in place as a result of the real estate mortgage fiasco. He not only did a great job and gave us a rate we liked, but he was also very easy to work with, extremely cordial and trustworthy. We were extremely pleased with his work and truly wished we knew him from the start. If it was possible, I would have used him for our mortgage in Texas where we moved to recently. Arnie is a true professional who was vital in helping us with our recent home purchase. My wife and I highly recommend Arnie Massenhausen for his outstanding efforts, advice, and overall support in our getting the loan needed for the house of our dreams. When a previous loan fell through as we were making our offer, we were referred to see Arnie. Arnie found the error made by the other mortgage broker and found that we were qualified for more of a loan than we previously thought possible. He knew all the questions to ask to find out about income we hadn't considered previously. Within an hour or two, we were back in the market for the house that we wanted so much thanks to Arnie. Arnie was also outstanding in his many efforts to secure the best possible deal for our circumstances and in explaining things that we ought to consider doing. Without hesitation I recommend Arnie Von Massenhausen. Arnie was our mortgage broker in 2009 for the purchase of our home. He was very patient during the lending process with all, and there were many, questions. As a first time home buyer I was extremely nervous about the entire process. Arnie knew this and took extra care to explain each step of the process. I never had any doubts that I would be approved for a loan. He kept me informed with each step. He clearly explained all options. He even took time to break down the differnce between condo/townhouse with HOA's fees vs. being able to spend a little more for a house. I did have to scramble a couple times to get extra paperwork that was needed or verify deposits, but he never made it a chore. I almost felt he would have gone to get the information himself if he could have.

Arnie helped me purchase my very own home recently (March 2012). He explained all the details about the loan in a simple way so that even my seven year old daughter was listening and video taping the meetings we had. I would recommend Arnie a million times over! In today's world it's difficult to trust the banks, the economy and the housing market. But then a person like Arnie comes along and you know that there are still trustworthy, kind and caring people who love their jobs and love to be of service.
