Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish
I want to relay that my wife and I had a wonderful experience working with SolarBrokers USA to get our system installed and online. Form start to finish, our project lead and sales rep, Pete Barnes provided knowledgeable, responsive, and quality service. It was the right combination of understanding the engineering/technical aspects, the financial/economics, and then just good old fashioned project management-A rare combination. When we had questions, he answered them. When we had doubts or second thoughts, he gently addressed our concerns that gave us peace of mind. All of these things transmitted a sense of care and concern that is the way a company should operate. With regard to the install team, the electricians, the team leads, the panel installers and crew were also top notch. They took care of our house and treated it with they same care they might give to there on home. Really took the time to make sure things looked right in addition to working right. At the end, they explained everything to us and the next steps in the process which was quickly followed up by a call from our project lead Pete Barnes. Appreciate all of your help during the install process. Looking forward to years of savings.

Pete was great helping us setup a solar system. We have a detached garage that worked well as a southern exposure and the system covers 100% of our annual electric use for the entire property. Pete was very easy to work with.
Pete Barnes did a great job for us when we decided to go with a solar system for our house. He clearly explained to us what we could expect to gain in terms of installation cost versus benefits in reduced electricity costs. The estimates he gave us were accurate and there were no surprises or unexpected costs. He explained all the steps in the purchase and installation process and he stayed involved throughout to make sure things proceeded as planned. Best of all, he was responsive, friendly, and forthright on the occasions when we needed support. He helped us navigate our local city's solar tax credit process, stepping in to make sure they had all the necessary paperwork and that we received the credits due. I would gladly work with Pete on another project and highly recommend him to anyone considering using him.

Pete's honesty, diligence, and excellent customer service made my home solar installation very cost effective. Unlike the company initially started dealing with, Pete pointed out my roof's sun/shade exposure and used that information to figure out the optimal number of panels, thereby avoiding the cost of unnecessary panels. The total price of my package was lower than other offers. Pete maintained good communication and customer service throughout the process from preinstallation evaluation to installation and even after installation. What he explained to me about incentives and other things in the solar market has come to pass. It's been 1 1/2 years after installation and I'm glad I made the decision.

Very smooth process from start to end with clear, accurate and professional information, no rushed sales pressure and in-depth communication throughout the process. Detailed system sizing and energy generation estimates. Responsive installers who made sure to create a very clean and unobtrusive install that does not detract from house features. Did a nice job with the critter guard all around (included in price). Equipment appears top notch, Enphase monitoring software works quite well, much better than the Generac system I had on a prior home. Getting utility company to let us operate took a few weeks longer than expected but still smooth overall with consistent communication from SolarBrokers USA. Would highly recommend to others!

There were some issues related to the work to be done. Pete Barnes resolved the problems by consulting with specialists at SolarBrokers USA and effectively communicating with me. He is to be commended for keeping me informed throughout the planning and construction process and responding in a timely fashion to my concerns and inquiries. He certainly left the impression that he cared beyond the basic job requirements. The construction crew was outstanding and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We worked closely with Pete Barnes from SolarBrokers USA. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Solar and it's nuances. It is a lot of engineering and design that goes in to estimate the right solution for your home and he took his time to explain everything as well as work with us within the parameters we had for aesthetics and expected yield. The installed system is delivering that and some more of what he designed the system for. Past the installation he hand held us through a myriad of forms and applications to get the desired solar credits, county tax breaks and federal subsidies. Him and the whole staff at energy Solar works including installers and administrative staff was just amazing to work with. Not to mention the extended warranties and guaranties the company offers - provide us the needed confidence in the investment we have made.

I met with SolarBrokers USA after getting a few quotes from different companies. While they were not the lowest price it was clear from the quality of the presentation and thoroughness of my project consultant that they were a cut above the competition. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and kept me in the loop on the schedule. The installation process was surprisingly fast (only a day and a half) and they did 99% of all the paperwork on my behalf. It was a smooth and seamless operation from start to finish.

Friendly, step-by-step, detailed service
Our sales rep, Pete Barnes, clearly knew about the system and the process, was very friendly and attentive, and was available (at all times) whenever we had any questions. He articulated all of the details to us prior to us making a decision on getting the system. He then was with us every step of the way to ensure that everything went on without any issues and that we are on well informed of what is going to happen next. The system was installed in December of 2021. From day one (after inspections were complete and the system was turned on) we have started to generate power. Even in December we were around 30% energy independence. Given that we are heavily working/schooling from home - multiple rooms, multiple laptops, and entertainment devices on - I was pleasantly surprised to see that. It will be a while to see the impact on the bills, probably around summer, but perfectly happy with the purchase and the service from SolarBrokers USA.

Worth the wait!
I talked to at least five different companies as part of installing solar. Everyone I talked to wanted to sell me different systems and made conflicting claims, ranging from an 8kW system covering 120% of my power needs to needing a 15kW system to cover 95%. Pete Barnes was incredibly patient with me and helped me understand how he came to his numbers. His numbers have been right on, and some of the other quotes would have been off by more than 40%! Once I was able to figure out what I really needed, SolarBrokers USA had very competitive pricing - and was the only company that set out an honest timeline. Several claimed I'd be generating power within a month, but that is impossible with my utility. The actual install was done in under two days. The crew did excellent and neat work, especially the electrician. I would highly recommend them. Generation started after the peak season, but it took until December before my daily use was higher than my daily generation. I'm very happy! I had an inverter die and it was replaced quickly.

Top notch customer service from initial consult to post-install
I truly rarely write reviews but happy to do so for SolarBrokers USA and Pete Barnes. We had considered solar last year and was approached by a door-to-door sales person for another company (yes, during the height of the pandemic). We wanted some time to do our own research but this sales person was so pushy that he actually wanted me to sign a 19 page contract on his tablet (i.e., no ability to read the fine print) just to allow his team to access the roof for a more accurate assessment. We refused to sign and I am glad that we waited. I decided to reach out to SEW after seeing that they were part of Solarize Nova. We worked with Pete Barnes and could not have been more pleased. We had a lot of questions regarding the different panels and Pete was always available to answer our questions. We are lucky enough to cover 100% of our electricity needs with solar so switching was a no-brainer. The installation crew were fantastic - they completed the work as promised, leaving nothing behind. Each day, they met with us to describe what work was left and at the end, went over how to run the system with us. We have enjoyed paying only the Dominion service fee since August. We also had a scary issue where water was coming into our electric panel when it rained. We reached out to Pete who escalated the issue and SEW sent a service consultant to our house to deal with this issue. It turned out that the water had nothing to do with SEW's work (an underground conduit from the back yard had broken so rain water was leaking in). The SEW consultant still remained on site to try to help us figure out where the water was coming from. Pete followed up with us on a regular basis until we were able to call in an electrician to fix the issue. We have yet to find any contractor or service as incredible, trustworthy, and conscientious about their work as SEW.
