I am a passionate solar and roofing expert and am proud to be a new member of SunnyMac Solar team, based here in one of my favorite parts of the world - Northern Delaware, S.E PA and South New Jersey, where I have lived for the past 30 years after immigrating from the UK back in 1992 . I joined the SunnyMac team in mid 2023 after a 7+ year spell with Tesla, SolarCity and Sunrun in the solar industry. I have installed over 2,000,000 SF of residential roofing and just under 4MW of "roof-top" solar in the past 15-years and look forward to sharing my knowledge, tips and expertise gaining during that time - with you and yours. I have a refreshing consultative sales approach (much appreciated by my peeps), with the emphasis on imparting knowledge and understanding, rather than selling something. I am able to advise on a full suite of residential roofing products including Cedar, Slate, Copper, Asphalt and Standing Seam. As well as a variety of solar, EV charging options and battery back-up solutions.

Tim is the best. We met with a ton of companies after a recent storm damaged our roof and siding. Tim was the only one to fully explain the claims process and how everything is paid out. He reviewed our claim and saw that the insurance company missed a bunch of stuff. It was adjusted and we received over $10,000 more to work with. The house looks amazing. These guys are the real deal. Don't believe all of the negative stuff on the internet. I'm too old to care, but many of my friends had nothing but negative things to say before I even signed up. I have worked hard for 60+ years and earned everything I have ever got and always treated my customers as if they were gold. It was a very pleasant and unexpected experience to work with a company today that obviously feels the same way. Tim has been very pleasant to work with on our project. He's well informed about the product/installation, has a pleasant personality, and his response to questions has been prompt, usually the same day. We decided to install solar based on the success my brother is experiencing with his system. While no two results may be the same, based upon current production, I could save approximately 18-20% on the electric charges from Delmarva. My brother, because he has an all electric house, is projected save even more. Tim's presentation is low key, non-pressure and he is an excellent representative of the company.

I'm getting close, I just had my panels installed on March 24, 2017 and I spoke with Tim that morning and said he would be there and sure enough he was there as promised. Tim was amazing on the set-up of our solar system. He explained how all of this works and the service that we would be getting. Not just once on the service but several times. He wanted us to know how the systems works and what we would be saving. The savings part was striking and we could not be happier with our solar system (over two years of service). Tim kept in touch with us after the system was installed, which was really a plus (you don't get that feedback sometimes on major jobs). In closing, we are very pleased with the Solar City and one happy customer.
