MY STORY.

While I probably don't have typical Real Estate Agent back story of how I got into Real Estate, I feel like my previous career was a great benefit to what I do today.

Prior to my Real Estate career, I spent 18 years in the IT industry. While my career was doing great, my boys were getting older and getting a lot busier with their interests and I wasn't about to miss out on that by being in an office 9+ hours a day. So I ditched the corporate world for a career that I always had a passion for - Real Estate. Best. Decision. Ever.

My IT career gave me a great analytical/data framework to make sense of market conditions, home values, and trends. All very valuable to what I do today. What the corporate world didn't give me, and I so greatly appreciate, is the daily satisfaction of helping people with one of the largest transitions/transactions of their lives. I love educating my clients so that when the time is right to make a move, they feel prepared to make the best decision possible for them. We met Courtney at an open house before we had chosen a realtor for our first time home-buying experience. We're so glad we did! She answered our many questions earnestly and with expertise, never once making us feel like we should already know something that we didn't. She adapted to the amount of input we wanted from her as we searched. When it was time to place an offer, she was completely on top of all the communication between the sellers, the title company, and the loan office. Our friends ask us how stressful buying a home was and our answer is always "surprisingly easy". We contribute this in whole to Courtney!

Courtney was always helpful and timely during the home buying process. Directed us to an awesome home inspector as well. As we were coming from another state, she would graciously go to various meetings/inspections on our behalf. She was our eyes/ears from afar. Would strongly recommend her to any potential home buyers or sellers! Strong asset to the Berkshire team.

Courtney was exceptional with including all of us in the search for a home that we could purchase. She asked us what we wanted in a house and paid close attention to the School District that we wanted. She worked to set up several homes for us to tour on Saturdays since we were coming into the city from Mid Missouri. She was so good with my grandson and wanted his input since he would be living there with our son. She listened and was not afraid to show us homes below and above our price range so we could do comparisons. If you are looking for an understanding realtor ask for Courtney Mulvaney

She presents herself both professionally and with confidence, while exhibiting a positive personality that is contagious. She was willing to go the extra mile for us, was ambitious to find answers when we had questions, and made the home-searching process enjoyable despite the inevitable stressors that come along with it. She fought for us, ensured our preferences were heard and acknowledged, and she walked next to us every step of the way. There were multiple, unintentional challenges that were presented to her, yet she handled those challenges without complaint and with a poise that is unmatched. She is one of a kind.
