Rudy and Liz Cortez
Amanda was referred to us by a close friend who was very complimentary about her when we entered into the purchasing market. We are relatively new to Stokes county, in fact new to North Carolina after relocating here from California in the spring of 2016. Our entire move from California to North Carolina was a leap of faith and so upon moving here we decided to keep our options open and entered into a 24 month lease to purchase agreement for a home and property located in the town of Walnut Cove. Not entirely a stranger to North Carolina we visited Ft.Bragg when our eldest son was stationed there with the 82nd Airborne, and Fayetville is the birth place of my Mother In-Law.
In the Fall of 2017 we were in a position to enter into a purchase and joint investment agreement with my Mother who resides in California. That said, the logistics of looking at homes and then conveying the results of the showings was very challenging and there were also the family dynamics that Amanda got to experience first hand thereby thrusting her in the middle to manage and by default becoming a part of our family. Our experience working with Amanda was very positive through the entire process of looking and finding a home, performing the necessary inspections, negotiating the upfront incentive offerings to the Seller, knowledge of how the lender operates and what the VA requires was not only impressive, but also essential in making our home purchase investment go smoothly as possible. There was also a surmountable amount of "hand-holding" that Amanda provided my Mother in the logistics and coordinating the sending/receiving/signing of documents from what used to be, to how things are signed electronically which included helping my Mother navigate through the various methods of technology that are not necessarily second nature for a person of the age of 78. All of this was just the experience of working and doing business with her and we cannot thank her enough for her patience in working through that.
On a personal level, we discovered things in common, enjoyed her sense of humor, learned of her devotion to family and witnessed first hand her demonstration of a productive and strong work ethic that extends beyond her profession position as a Real Estate agent. We are happy to call her a friend, and look forward to building a long-term relationship with her and her family that will extend well into the future at our new home that she played such a huge part in.
From the Cortez and Jugoz Family, Thank You Amanda!
Friends, Lani, Rudy, Liz and Rebecca :)
