Christy Knox
Escrow County Manager Chicago Title Everett
Christy started out in the escrow industry in 1997 as an escrow assistant with Wells Fargo Escrow. Christy worked her way up from an assistant to Junior Closer and decided to take the LPO exam in October of 1999. She passed to become a Limited Practice Officer in the State of Washington to go on and start her closing career.
In 2001 Christy decided to leave the escrow world and go work for a company which was located closer to home to run their mobile home department. This department’s goal was to work directly with title and escrow companies to complete and process their mobile home title transfers and title eliminations.
Christy managed and ran this department until March of 2008, until the company ended up closing down the department and eventually ended up closing their doors. The company offered Christy the opportunity to take on the mobile home division, which she decided to do and opened her own company known then as Manufactured Home Title Services.
Based on the same procedures and practices that Christy developed, she was able to build her own successful company continuing to work directly with title and escrow companies to process title transfers and title eliminations.
In April of 2010 due to the downturn of the housing market, Christy returned to the escrow industry as a utility employee of Chicago Title in the Lynnwood office. She did assisting and closing duties, signings, as well as helped with audits while working directly with the Escrow County Manager.
Christy’s current title is the Assistant Escrow County Manager. Within her position she works closely with escrow staff regarding training and development on policies and closing procedures, speaks and presents with sales at educational classes provided to agents and when in the absence of the Escrow County Manager, assists with the daily functions of the operation.
In May of 2017, Christy was given the opportunity to be a part of the company’s Leadership Development Program back in Jacksonville
