I started my Escrow career in 1999, and since then have handled a number of various escrow transactions, including Residential and Commercial resale, Refinances, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Short Sales, REO's, Auctions, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, and Investor Wholesale transactions.

A diverse group of lenders were forced to foreclose on a commercial property. There were a total of nine people plus an "entity". We opened escrow around July 2022, but despite the foreclosure it took months to obtain a trial date for eviction. It then took the judge two more months to sign the decision. Finally, the lockout took another two months.
As you can imagine, it was not easy for Jaime to keep everyone on board with the numerous required signings, including an amendment to the original offer. To complicate things further, one of the sellers stopped cooperating with the escrow process. Lastly, toward the very end, two of the sellers could not be reached for the critical last documents.
Jaime worked diligently to ensure that all parties could and would sign everything. Because the percentage breakdown of ownership was different for most of the sellers it was confusing for them to ascertain how to complete the tax documents. Several of the sellers needed to be contacted after hours and walked through the tax and other paperwork. Jaime forwarded her office phone to her cell phone and patiently worked with those sellers late into the evening.
Without Jaime's help it is doubtful whether this transaction would have closed...which it did some SEVEN MONTHS after opening escrow. She did a stellar job.
