I have glowing things to say about working with Adam and Sherry. We met them at an open house a couple of years ago. They were incredibly personable and knowledgeable. We kept coming back and following up with them. We had the goal of selling our first house and buying our "forever" house. They came to the house a year before selling to give us some pointers and things to take care of. They then helped guide us through recommended repairs immediately prior to selling to maximize the home value. Our house ended up with 8 offers in a difficult market and sold for a significantly higher price than we could have dreamed of. These extra dollars were helpful in buying our forever house which they helped us buy as well. They knew the ins and outs of many different neighborhoods in Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill Martinez and Alamo for our home search (and I am sure many others). They had great local insight on countless things and offered us excellent vendor recommendations that we used on both the house we sold and the house we purchased. My wife and I really liked working with them as a team because they have a complementary style we greatly benefited by working with and discussing one of the most significant financial decisions of our lives. Sherry and Adam helped us sell our previous home and we're currently working with them to buy our next and they were wonderful to work with on both sides! Professional, helpful, prompt responses, holding our hand through the process when we needed that and giving us everything we needed to make informed decisions. We would even call on them for advice years before we had decided to sell and they were very patient with us and helped us figure out if/when we wanted to sell before they had been officially hired, without making us feel pressured to do anything or use them over others. Adam and Sherry were so great to work with while we sold our house in Lafayette. They walked us through and supported us every step of the way starting with giving us a suggested project list to prepare our house through the final offer and sale. We moved out of town before listing the house, so Adam and Sherry were always available to let contractors into the house and oversee all the staging. Thank you Adam and Sherry for all the work you did at our house and for making the process as stress free and simple as possible for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Adam and Sherry to sell our home. They began by explaining the selling process step by step. What impressed us the most was their honesty and integrity, which manifested itself daily. During our selling process, they both encountered difficult personal situations which would have sidelined other agents. But they worked together, and worked with us, to keep to the schedule we agreed upon. Because of their marketing plan and the professionals they brought into the process, we had seven offers on our house, all over asking. Sherry Hutchens and Adam Hamalian are an amazing duo of realtors. My wife and I met them through a recommendation from our loan officer almost a year ago, and with their support, recently closed on our dream home.

When we met Adam and Sherry, we level set that we were looking for our "forever home" but were not sure what kind of house (style, location, size) would fit that role. We also shared we were in no rush to purchase. They immediately went to work but also maintained an incredible level of patience and support to move at our pace. They were never pushy but also quick to act when we asked for it. They have superb knowledge and expertise over housing markets and construction which really helped us focus in our searches and think through what mattered most until we found the perfect fit.

We highly recommend Adam and Sherry and can confidently say that even half as good of an experience as we had with them would make any buyer or seller grateful they went this route. 10/10!

Sherry and Adam did a fabulous job selling our condo in Orinda. The condo had been rented for many years and needed fix-ups and updating of interiors. They took on the management of all this work and performed it efficiently, flawlessly, and in record time. Shery and Adam worked cooperatively with us to arrive at a list price and then to negotiate a final sale. Adam and Sherry are an incredible team of agents and we were blessed to work with them on the sale of our home and the purchase of a new, smaller home. They are very organized and extremely knowledgeable about the local real estate market. In addition, they are great people. As first time home buyers in a crazy market, Sherry and Adam were the perfect relators for us. We appreciated the time they took to explain every step of the process from getting pre-approved to closing on our house. They listened to our needs and never pressured us to put in an offer on something we didn't love. We had some highly unusual and stressful things happen when closing on our home, and they went above and beyond to do everything in their power to get us across the finish line. Sherry Hutchins and Adam Hamalian were recommend to us by a friend and they were great! They stepped us through the process of selling our mother’s house after her untimely death. They handed coordinating cleaning out the house and significant repairs including the remodeling of the kitchen to prepare the house for sale. This was extremely helpful as we do not live in the area. They also helped us navigate the rapidly changing real estate market as interest rates began to increase helping us to price the house for fair and quick sale. They are both very knowledgeable and work great as a team.
