Jennifer was a tremendous help both as our buyer agent and later as our sellers agent. My wife and I were new to the area and Jennifer helped us find the right home for our family. It’s easy to take tangible wants (price, # of bedroom, etc.) and find homes that fits those criteria. It’s much more difficult to understand the “feel” someone is looking for, and she understood ours.

This was very enlightening as it helped us gauge our buying power in the area and prepared us how much to "level-up" our offers on subsequent homes. Jennifer is outstanding! When my husband and I started looking for homes in the Concord/Clayton area we, admittedly, had no idea what we were getting into. Working with Jen was an awesome experience! I was looking to sell my current home and purchase a new one. I had started working with a different realtor in her office (who is also amazing) and when he went on vacation Jen stepped in. She showed us a few houses while our realtor was away. And when he came back she stayed on to still work with us! She did not have to stay and continue to help us. But we had established a bond in that short time and she truly cared about us finding our perfect home. I truly appreciate that. It wasn't just about business, she became a friend. Jen was our realtor when we purchased our home recently and she was excellent throughout the whole process.
It was our first house purchase in the U.S. We are originally from the UK where the market and process is completely different, so we needed a realtor who could guide us through every step and Jen did a great job at doing that. It was our absolute pleasure to work with Jennifer. Jen represented us a buyer on one transaction and as a seller on another and with both transactions, she delivered on all of her promises. Jennifer Watkins is the best! My family and I are new to the area and new to California real estate having moved to the area recently. She took the time to help educate us on the market and the process of buying a new house which is a bit different than other parts of the country. She helped us explore different parts of Walnut Creek until we found the neighborhood we desired. Once we had chosen Northgate, she went to work to find us the right property. We did not buy the first house we made an offer on but she was great throughout the process with constant hour by hour communication.
When we found the next property we were willing to bid on, she helped us stand out from the other bidders to make our desire to purchase the house more personal to the sellers. The house we chose needed a fair amount of work and Jennifer lined up every type of inspection needed to make sure we were completely informed of what the house needed. She was with us for a complete day as sewer, pool, termite, HVAC, chimney, and whole house inspection was completed. We then needed to make some adjustments to the offer and Jen was great negotiating on our behalf and getting the contract redone timely.
In addition, she referred us to a great mortgage firm that handled the entire financing. She worked hand in hand with them and it make things run very smoothly.
