My name is Scott Nivens and I have over 10 years experience in representing buyers and sellers in Southwest Florida, specializing in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. I represent first time home buyers, investors, retirees, and people that are relocating.

In the mid 1990's I started flipping properties as a hobby. In 2002, property values had increased to the point where it was next to impossible to find good, profitable properties. I decided to get my license to find better deals. I ended up helping other people buy and sell their own properties. This is when I realized how much I really liked helping people in their Real Estate efforts.

Scott Nivens is a Florida native who enjoys outside activities. I spent most of my childhood in Naples, but has I've spent the last 38 years in the Manatee, Sarasota area. I attend classes on a regular basis so I can provide my customers with the latest technology and vision in Real Estate. We were acquaintances of Scott prior to selling our house and soon after became friends. We soon discovered that he was very knowledgeable and experienced in the real estate business, so when it came time for us to sell our house, we new without a doubt that he was the person for the job. We were out of state owners that used the house during the winter months, so Scott did an excellent job of preparing our house for listing and guided us through the selling process. He communicated well as potential buyers viewed our property gave us an honest and accurate estimate of what we could expect. The listing sold in pretty much the amount of time he predicted and we were very pleased with everything all the way through the closing and beyond. Scott worked with us for several months during our relocation. He was available to talk at anytime looking at homes based on our schedule and guided us through the process from beginning to end. Even helped with a broker, when we were getting no were with ours, painters and movers. What ever we needed, Scott had people. We highly recommend.

From beginning to end, Scott delivered prompt and professional service. No issues or surprises and the closing attorney he works with was also exceptional. Scott was exceptional in finding us our condo in Florida. He was patient, calm, attentive and honestly the best realtor that we have ever worked with purchasing both houses & condos in the past & present. Scott was always available to take our call which is a rarity in the real estate business. He was always professional and truly cared that we found the right property for us. We felt so at ease because he guided us through all the different aspects of Florida real estate, and there are a lot of them! He knows his real estate. I also must mention we were working with about 5 different realtors at the beginning because we wanted to see condos on our time not a real estate agents time. Scott Nivens made the sale of my home a very easy, pleasant and seamless process. His promotion of my home brought a buyer in immediately. I was moving out of state so planned to sell my furniture. I was pleased he promoted the fact that any furniture the buyers were interested in, I would be willing to negotiate with them. He also recommended services that I would need to make my move.
