Nick is amazing ! This was our second experience working with Nick and he doesn’t disappoint. Nick has great follow through and made our home selling/home buying experience easy ! We closed on time! Nick was the BEST!! He made my first home buying process exceptionally easy. I tried to practice good judgment by keeping my lending options open, and I attempted to use other lenders as well. I made the mistake of trusting another lender, but I should have known, no others offer me the professionalism and attention that Nick offered. Nick made our first time home buying experience so easy and painless. From the very beginning he was transparent and honest with our qualifications and explained all the future steps very clearly. He answered all of my questions even the silly ones that I was afraid to ask. He was always quick with the paperwork and stayed in constant communication with myself and our agent. I am writing to thank you both for the work that you did. We lived at our house on 24th for the past 12 years. During this time our kids went to preschool, elementary, middle school and started high school. I completed a masters of education and became a middle school teacher. Carlos worked as a carpenter and then completed the auto mechanic program at PCC. Carlos was also able to return home to help his family after hurricane Maria. And he is now employed at Schnitzer Steel which is his best job to date. None of this would have been possible without stable affordable housing. About 5 years ago we joined the home buying program. We completed all the components of the program and began to look for a home. We ran into a number of dead ends but after much frustration came the excitement of our home. It seemed like we wouldn't get here but we finally did it. I know that you both went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get into the house. We truly appreciate and recognize the extra work you did on our behalf. I attached a couple picture from around the time we moved into our place on 24th and one from the day we moved out. Nick was great to work with. I had no idea how involved this was going to be but he kept the whole thing moving forward and would let us know if we were getting behind. I hope not to have to move again but would definitely be happy to work with him and his team again.

I mostly worked with Jayna. Jayna is very knowledgeable about the home buying process in addition to the lender's process. I met Jayna before applying for pre-qualification. She walked me through the process and discussed first time home buyer programs.

The team made the application process painless because it's all online.

When I was making offers, Jayna provided updated pre-qualification letters every time! There was never a time where her response was delayed.

As a new home owner, I had many questions and Jayna was always polite in answering anything I wanted to know. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and I could tell she genuinely wanted me to feel well-informed.

Nick prequalified us for a loan while we were waiting for our old house to close.
When it did close, he dove in and took care of all the details, and worked with us when we decided to modify some issues.
He was always available for answering our questions, and made us feel like our questions were important.

Nick Prohaska and his assistant Jayna Carlson went out of their way to get us an equity loan on short notice. The underwriters kept asking for more information as time passed toward the deadline for which we needed the loan. This was disheartening for us, but Nick and Jayna stayed on top of it in a very timely fashion and patiently helped us through this stressful process. It all came together in the end. We can't thank them enough for making it happen, and we were able to make our move on time.
