I love living in a small college town and it is people like Ray Wallace who make it so great! From the day I met Ray 6 or 7 years ago, he has been nothing but professional, kind, helpful, funny, insightful, humble, and honest . He amazes me with his musical talent and the way he seems to do so many cool things!
When I bought my house 6 years ago, Ray was right there to help make the process go smoothly just as he was for my recent refinance. But, he has also been my go-to guy when I have questions about the market, notifications I would get from the lender (which changed hands 2 or 3 times!), just about anything. He is the one I absolutely know I can trust to be honest, patient, and thoughtful with his advice. He's never pushed me to do anything and that is one of many reasons I will always go to him for my home loans, etc.

I don’t know if I can recommend Ray highly enough, but I’ll try. Ray demystified the whole process and made it easy. (Well, at least for me!) As a first time home buyer, I didn’t know how the business worked, or what the mortgage process entailed. Ray patiently answered all my questions, and was quick to respond to texts and email at every stop of the process. Even during waiting periods, he’d keep me updated. I always knew where I was and what I was supposed to be doing in the lending process thanks to him.
His colleague Becky Pfeiffer is also amazing. Whenever I wasn't getting help from Ray, Becky was there for me. They're a great team!
Throughout multiple steps and meetings, Ray never ceased giving me the same top notch service that I received at my very first appointment. As a first time home buyer it was important to my wife and I to work with a Loan Agency that was personable and someone we could trust. After, phone conversations with other lending agencies we were put in contact with Ray Wallace at Home Street Bank. We booked an appointment with Ray. During the appointment it was clear that Ray was thorough in his process' and actually was working to find the best rates and options available for our loan. Clearly we did not receive this type of service and transparency had we used other lenders. Through the entire process Ray was able to explain each step in the process of owning a home. Having never purchased a house before, we needed all the information we could get. Ray was able to relay the information in a way we both could understand.
