Before i started looking for a loan, I considered to use a local small bank! The last two houses i had they were financed by home street bank and i was really happy, but my loan was sold to a different bank. That i didn’t like, but i decided to use the same bank again so the day i went to my local bank i met Laura Unruh and i thought was it luck or destiny but i struck gold, Laura made my experience so easy she is a straight shooter just like me and she explained everything to the dot and when i found the right house closing the deal was so smooth, my agent said Laura made her job so easy and coordinating between escrow , my agent listing agent and Laura was so easy! She handled all the paperwork, since we lack online experience. She is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I am Homestreet Bank customer for about 20 years. In general, HSB is my favorite bank due to good services, friendliness, professionalism, mostly the teller staff is very friendly and helpful people.
Then, in August of 2022, one of the bank staff has introduced me to discuss with Laura about the Home equity loan. When my wife and I met Laura first time, I can feel that I meet the right person to discuss about Home Equity Loan HELOC. Me and my wife are in fixed income of retirement. The 2 previous banks, that we have contacted denied to help us when they learned that we are in fixed income.
Then, we contact Laura on the phone. She right away invited us to discuss with her at her office in Kent. On the first day, we can feel the hope about we might getting the loan. Laura is a unique individual that LISTEN to us and she tried to find ways to find the positive ways to meet the requirements.explain to us very clear about the loan and any requirements for the loan. Laura is willing to talk to us at her office or on the phone on any questions that we do not understand. Laura is a GOLDEN bridge for us to connect with the under writer loan.
