The best customer service ever and the most professional person to deal with! I had very little information about the loan business and was so pleasantly surprised at how Shellanne Adams explained all my options, various considerations, and once I decided on the type of loan moved extremely quickly to guide me through the process. Every time I thought I hit a snag, she found a solution, or helped me realize that it was something that could be worked through. Making financial decisions is not easy for me, but I felt confident and pleased given Shellane's guidance. She kept me informed before and during every step. Shellane is everything one would hope for in a loan officer. She guided us through every step of our HELOC with professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness. There are many reasons HomeStreet bank is by far our favorite-ever bank, but Shellane managed to add yet another one to our list. I could not recommend her more highly.

Shellane was incredible with helping us get our mortgage. She was very communicative, responded quickly and was so knowledgeable with helping navigate our options. The ever changing interest rates meant we were constantly reassessing our mortgage options and Shellane was always keeping an eye on the best options for us. Very grateful we worked with her!

Shellane and I have actually never met. My original mortgage loan was through a Loan Officer who is no longer at Home Street Bank and Shellane took over as my Home Street connection. When I found myself needing to work on some home repairs, and needed some help with funding, Shellane treated my request seriously. She treated me with kindness and respect, patience and encouragement to the point that I felt like I did know her personally. I feel like she went above and beyond what she needed to do in order to help me with the entire loan process. As first time home buyers we were new to everything! Shellane patiently and expertly explained all the details of the process of setting up our mortgage and how everything worked. She's skillful and knowledgeable, with a wonderful sense of humor that puts you at ease. Anytime we had a question she got right back to us. Her checklists were easy to follow and we always knew exactly what was expected of us and what the next steps were.
When we had some communication issues with our title company Shellane was right there to follow up with them and get everything straightened out within minutes. She's phenomenal and I'm so thankful we worked with her and her team at Home Street Bank! Shellane Adams was my loan officer in a transaction for me to purchase property in Snohomish , Washington. Shellane worked with bankers at the HomeStreet Bank, Wedgewood Branch and coordinated with my realtor, Jill Sjolin to get a loan approved for the purchase of a condominium I now own. She was a good communicator and Shellane made certain that requirements connected with approval of the loan were followed. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have had Shellane as my loan officer. This was my first mortgage and it was a construction loan to boot! In addition to being new to this process, I needed the loan to be completed quickly as the construction schedule moved up. She worked quickly to get everything in order, answered ALL of my million questions with ease and clarity, and provided guidance where I needed it. Shellane was highly recommended by my financial advisor, and Shellane did not disappoint us. She did an excellent job getting all the documents processed and was always available to answer questions, and quick to resolve any issues that came up. At times I got frustrated, but she kept me in check and explained every little detail and why it was necessary. She didn't rush us to get the HELOC loan but gave us time to think it over and picked up where we left after we decided to move forward. Shellane has earned our trust and respect by displaying integrity, excellence, honesty, intelligence and professionalism.
