Clarke helped us tremendously when we made a move. When we were putting our existing house on the market he found several repair specialists to do esoteric jobs such as fixing a dumbwaiter or locating a intermittent leak in our internal Jacuzzi. (Others had never gotten it quite right.) When we put it on the market everything was in excellent condition. These and other steps made the sale happen on schedule.
When it came to finding a new home, he dug right in and got to understand exactly what we were looking for. We looked at many houses and together we found the right one. We happened to link up with Clarke as our agent by randomly calling his office with a question about a property they were listing, and I am so thankful that we did! Clarke did a wonderful job for us when we were house hunting. We had to do most of our communications by way of phone, email or via the internet because at the time we lived in Maryland. House hunting is stressful enough but Clarke's professionalism and expertise made that process much easier. Clarke made accommodations and arrangements that always worked for our schedule and situatuon. Clarke sold a property for me that I didn't think would sell for a number of reasons. It was a gated community with a very strict home owners association, who had the authority to reject a buyer whom they determined was not an upstanding citizen! The first offer was from someone who had filed previously for bankruptcy, and the board rejected them as owners!
Also, the terms of the ownership as regards the land itself was confusing as a buyer bought the home, but the land ownership was retained by the association.
Clarke found a way to deal with the problems and completed the sale in spite of all the issues!

Clarke worked tirelessly on the sale of our home in San Ramon and, at the same time, found us our current home in Danville. This was at the beginning of the Great Recession in Sept. of 2007 so financing was starting to tighten up and sellers/buyers were both jockeying for money and position; good deals were quickly evaporating. In other words, the market was awful. Clarke maneuvered us through the turbulent time with grace and professionalism; through a tough contingency situation with a short closing threshold. Clarke knows his stuff and is loyal to a fault. When my husband passed away unexpectedly a few years later, Clarke was right there with a free market valuation of our home for legal purposes. I would be honored to use him again in the future.
