Valerie is awesome. She knows her stuff. Being a control freak it was hard to let go of control, but shortly into the process I knew Valerie was very experienced and with her prompt replies to my questions and concerns I stepped back and trusted her to do her job. Now we have lived in our house for 47 years so this was a new experience for us. Valerie is no nonsense but you still know she cares. She keeps the process moving and we are happy to say we did receive more than asking price. I would recommend anyone selling or buying should just call Valerie and let her work her magic

Valerie is amazing. We initially tried to buy a property back in 2013 that at no fault of Valerie fell through. When we were ready to buy again Valerie was there for us yet again. I have nothing but good things to say about Valerie. She helped me sell my father's home shortly after his death, which is about as difficult as it sounds (and myself never having owned or sold property.) Her businesslike, no-nonsense attitude was balanced with the right amount of tact and sympathy.She was patient with my questions and sensitive to the emotional content of the transaction, while making sure that everything was happening in a timely and efficient manner. She really knew the market for our area and everything she predicted came true - we got a final offer that was over our starting price, it was only on the market for one week, and it all went as smoothly as it could. She helped me find someone to remove the excess belongings from the unit and even helped me get some things to storage when I was in a jam and couldn't get ahold of a truck. In short, above and beyond service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any real estate matter!

I found myself in the position of having to leave the flat I'd been living in in San Francisco for 30 years and I only had two months to find another place to live. One of my friends posted my plight on a community board in SF and Valerie responded.

Valerie is an outstanding Realtor. She just closed a challenging purchase of home for a buyer that was given 60 days to move or would loose up to $80,000 as part of a negotiated settlement of a long-term rental. While some agents in this market take months or longer to find a client a suitable home Valerie was able to find her client several homes within weeks, get one under contract and the client moved within time. Valerie's buyer had some much trust and respect that she was able to remain completely calm throughout the process. I helped with the financing so I could see it first hand.

A year in and we're still happy!
We were relocated to the SF Bay Area for my partners job. Apartment living for homeowners is not a lot of fun. This lead us to a search both for a home and an agent to help. The Internet is full of search engines to help with the former (well sorta), but how do you find someone to trust? Sheer blind luck.
The stars must have been in alignment to put us in touch with Val. Unknown to us both we had met as a part of a large fund raising event. You know-the sea of faces that pass by, occasionally lingering but constantly moving. We met at her office for the first time and we both paused-I know you!
That was the beginning of a path that we'd never have been able to navigate without such a knowledgable and well connected person. The market here is so different--do it now or else you loose, the crazy paperwork and finding a mortgage (whole other story), people to trust to inspect and fix things. Val's integrity and strength of purpose was a beacon in a sea of more faces and requirements than we've faced in any other real estate transaction.
After the sale Val connected us with a network of folks that helped us remodel and turn our rough stone into a gem we are proud to call our home. We are super happy with everything.

We found Dagmar through a listing we were interested in viewing as completely preliminary research to the area. She knew we had not been pre-approved yet and weren't in the market to buy a house at the time. Despite this, she made herself available all afternoon to show us the home we wanted to view and like homes in the area. When we were ready to get serious Dagmar was wonderful and accommodating from beginning to end. Many times, we would need to view a home last minute and she would consistently find time to work it into her schedule. When we had to make an offer we were in her office signing documents after hours to accommodate our busy schedules. It took us many months to find our house, but we never felt rushed. When our offer was accepted she was there to explain every single step of the closing process and you can be sure she won't anything fall through the cracks - she was a thorough as she is patient. After multiple offers and countless showings Valerie was finally able to land them the home they wanted. If it wasn't for her tireless work I'm sure they would have given up......in fact I'm positive.
She really went the extra mile for not only the client, but for me the lender as well. Her communication was relentless and prompt, something thats desperately needed in this line of work. Any buyers would be lucky to have Valerie on their side.

Nancy is simply amazing. The only reason we were able to get our house was because of her. We had put offers in on a few other houses that she showed us, and she always made it feel like we had a chance with them. We got outbid but it was never her fault. She is very hardworking and does not quit until she gets you your house. Whenever we had a question about what was going on with a house, she was instantly on the phone with the realtor selling the house, and would not let them go until she got an answer from them.
