The process of purchasing a residence in California, particularly when you live in NYC and are accustomed to the way things work here, is daunting at best. I don't really understand why we do not need the support of attorneys but this is what I am told--rely on your broker and your Escrow/Title so that's what we are doing. Confusing, frustrating, unsettling - Carin and her team have been very patient with us and have taken the time to answer every question no matter how insignificant it might seem to them. They are giving us peace of mind, so critical when making an investment like this.
