When our 88 year old mother passed away recently, the last thing on our minds was searching for a good realtor to sell her Villages home. Neither me nor any of my 3 siblings live in Florida and we needed to sell her home quickly by long distance. I initially contacted our Mother's estate attorney to get a recommendation for a local real estate attorney who suggested Shipley Law Office. who in turn highly recommended Angie Taylor. Not only did Angie have an impressive sales record but she offered 'one stop shopping' and a discounted real estate commission if we used Shipley Law and Title as our closing legal representative. This arrangement was most attractive since virtually the entire transaction could be accomplished by long distance through one professional office.
Not only was Angie friendly and easy to work with but she went above and beyond the call of duty throughout the process, assisting us with finding local handymen, locksmith, a painter, an estate sale firm and even cleaning people. As part of her services she arranged for professional photography and digital (CGI) staging/furnishings for the MLS website images. Our Mother's home sold almost immediately for the asking price with multiple offers for us to consider. I first met Angie in 2016 when my husband and I made a visit to The Villages to see what it was all about. When we returned from The Villages’ Trolly tour, Angie was there to greet us and offer her services whenever needed. That was certainly our lucky day – her smile, her warmth and friendliness was all it took to convince us Angie was the one with whom we wanted to work and later that fall Angie helped us find the perfect home. I cannot even begin to describe how patient she was with us. We looked at many, many, many, ( I mean many) houses and Angie never seemed annoyed or impatient with our process. Angie met us at our potential new home and wanted to make sure this was the home we wanted before we signed any paperwork. Then in the spring of 2023 we needed to sell the Villages house in which my sister-in-law had been living. Trust me on this, you would never want anyone to sell your home other than Angie. Her professionalism, confidence and the little things she does to make a home feel homey and welcoming are beyond amazing. Now, combine that with her optimism, positive attitude, and friendly, caring attitude and it is a perfect formula for complete success. The house is under contract and closing today. Angie also seems to have a contact for every situation. We needed to have the shrubbery trimmed up – there was someone there that very afternoon. We needed to have some maintenance for the sprinklers – someone was there the very next day. The list goes on and on. It is difficult to stop writing about Angie and her strengths, but most importantly of all is that Angie is truly a genuine, loving, kind, caring, compassionate human. She is someone you will always remember and she will for sure be in the top 10 list of the nicest people you have ever known.
