My wife and I were searching for undeveloped property in the Lexington, SC area in which to build. For anybody who has been down this road, they can attest that it's painstaking and difficult due to the lack of local information. We were lucky to find Dana Britt with the Shumpert group. It's clear from our interactions that they are reliable, trustworthy and personable. Their local knowledge is unmatched. Dayna led us through a difficult task expertly and seemlessly. At the end, we are ecstatic with our property and very pleased with the professionalism , friendliness, care and expertise that that Dayna exhibited and this clearly reflects well on Shumpert. I highly recommend Kevin Lewis as an agent. His work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond is unparalleled.

As an example of this dedication to providing great service, I was an out of state buyer and Kevin made it a point to attend all appointments on our behalf and traveled to numerous homes to make videos to share with us as we searched for our new home.


We ended up finding and purchasing a home almost entirely from out of state with Kevin’s assistance and guidance. All the while Kevin kept us informed and was the most pleasant person to deal with. I can’t recommend him enough to any potential buyer.

Kevin was nothing short of amazing. We met him last minute on a weekend trip to SC to look at homes in August 2023. Our home in AZ didn’t sell quickly, but Kevin never became discouraged or frustrated and tolerated us reaching out with requests and questions for over 6 months! Thank you again so much Kevin for making this move possible for our family. We’re thrilled to call South Carolina home and without you, couldn’t have done it. I would like to Start by saying it was an absolute pleasure to work with our Realtor Matt Horton with the Shumpert group. We had visited the Columbia / Lexington area from our home in Summerville looking for a home to purchase, and had dealt with 1 or 2 other realtors with different companies. We found these realtors weren't paying close attention to our wants and needs which wasted a lot of our time traveling to the area house shopping. Once we reached out to Matt and started being shown homes, we knew right away he was the Realtor for us. He understood our time constraints from traveling from out of town to "house hunt", listened very carefully to what both my wife and I were looking for and tried to accommodate every detail. He was very very knowledgeable of the Lexington / Columbia area and not only helped find us a great home but also a great neighborhood. Matt demonstrated excellent realtor skills, not once did we feel like he was trying to make a quick sale with a lot of "fluff". He would always ask after a showing what we liked about the house and listened intently when we communicated our dislikes and tried to address these in the next showings. Matt was always quick to respond with questions or concerns all the way up to our closing date. If we ever need or need to recommend a realtor we have Matt Hortons number on speed dial!

My wife and I experienced our first out of state home buying experience and Jada made it such a wonderful transition. With more than a few bumps on the road that were unforeseen and not of our doing Jada was with us every step of the way - even when we reconsidered looking for other properties to settle into.

Not only did we come in contact with a knowledgeable and wonderful agent to help us learn about the area, but we have also gained a new friend to the area!

The agent Matt Horton who represented my family and I during our home buying experience was very down to earth and easy to work with. As one that considers himself very self-sufficient, what I was most grateful for was that Matt was easily accessible to answer my questions, show properties we became interested in, and followed through with anything needed to ensure a smooth home buying process from start to finish. I'd definitely look to work with Matt again and refer him to others.

Dayna Britt was so attentive and she was very helpful! As first time home-buyers both me and my wife found her to be very calming and guiding throughout the whole process. I was impressed with her level of knowledge early on and the amount of data she had about the market. It became a no-brainer early on for me to work with her. She helped both my wife and I find our dream home! Every step of the process was easy as can be with her help. Dayna was ALWAYS available for home tours. Her responsiveness was incredible. If she didn’t pick up, they always call back no longer than 5 minutes later. Dayna is truly exceptional. I would recommend her to anyone!

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I had a wonderful home-buying experience! It took me about a year to find a home with a yard to my satisfaction. I worked with Meredith Honeycutt of the Shumpert Gtoup. She was inspiring every step of the way. She never showed frustration with me, although I was indecisive at times. She was just as excited as I was in finding me the right house. After working with me for just a little while, she had me down to a science. She could expose my thoughts about some of the houses she showed me, without me saying a word. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I closed on a house 7/18/23, Thanks to the Shumpert Group, owning a home became a reality. An added service was the concierge service, which assisted me with setting up utilities at my new home. I would give more stars, but five was the highest amount I could give. We need more businesses like this that understand the importance of service to the community. I appreciate working with you!

We first came into contact with Nicole Whitney via Zillow and from the start, she was able to make things happen. She lined up three houses for us to see the day we arrived in the Columbia area. She helped to make a cross-county house purchase feel like we were already there.
