Matt Horton helped us achieve our retirement home goals. Found Matt through random google search of realtors specializing in northern Scottsdale. He regularly sent Scottsdale residential market updates. Based only on our long-distance correspondence, referred friends to Matt’s expertise. Friends also incredibly pleased with home they bought with Matt’s assistance. Matt’s experience & acumen in the metro-Scottsdale/Phoenix home real estate market are exemplary. He’s very patient with his buyers, but able & willing to be a hardline agent on his client’s behalf. Matt also has a dry, northeastern sense of humor (appreciated by us New Yorkers), which made time we spent together viewing homes (despite pandemic restrictions) very enjoyable! We actually miss spending time with him! Haha!

Where to start ................ I found Matt to be The Best real estate agent i have worked with (and there have been many). He was recommended to me by a good friend and did not disappoint. Matt was and still is very responsive. He took the time to get a thorough understanding of my priorities and the parameters i was looking for and what my investment goals were. I know he spent hours looking through potential properties and did a great job of pin-pointing the best possibilities. He didn't waste my time with properties that did not meet my criteria. When i decided at the last minute to visit Phoenix, Matt showed his flexibility and changed his schedule, making time for me to look at properties over 2 days. He had my best interests at heart. With his fantastic knowledge of the Phoenix/Scottsdale market, he was able to go to bat for me. I truly felt that Matt had my best interests at heart. He negotiated in my best interest and was able to close 2 deals satisfying all of my requests. To sum up: Matt is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and responsive. We recently purchased our forever home in North Scottsdale with the help of real estate agent, Matt Horton. Having relocated for work across the nation several times, we know first-hand how critical it is to have a really good real estate agent in both the buying and selling process. This most recent relocation from Colorado to Arizona did not include the normal relo package from my employer, so I was even more anxious about selecting just the right realtor. However, from the moment I met Matt I knew he was the right choice. My husband was in Colorado the first time I went to look at houses with Matt. As a woman, that can be a little scary but he demonstrated just the right balance of professionalism and humor that quickly put me at ease. I was immediately impressed with how many questions he asked to make sure he had a really good understanding of what I liked, what I was looking for in a home, and what our plans were for the future. Never once did he talk down to me or make me feel uncomfortable, which is something I’ve experienced in the past with other salesmen. Matt is incredible. He gave us the exact perfect advice on what to do and what not to do to get the house ready for the market. He took the time to understand what our needs were and he never strayed from keeping them in the forefront. When we had potential buyers his mastery really kicks in. Matt Horton was incredible. Coming to AZ in February , we only had a month to find a home in North Scottsdale. We were at the low end of affordability and it didn't matter. He worked extremely hard for us. He came up with a listing and we went thru them the first day. He went out of his way because of our time limit here and found a home before it was even on the market. Went thru the home and fell in love with it and we're lucky enough to get an accepted offer.
