5 stars just aren’t enough for Kim! My best friend referred to me Kim and told me how incredible she was, and she was so right. I am genuinely clueless when it comes to home-buying and the market, and Kim made my first home buying experience SO perfect. I close on my first home today, and the process has been so smooth it’s almost unbelievable! She genuinely cares for your needs and wants and leads you in the exact right direction. She genuinely feels like she’s on your side when touring homes and searching for the right one. The deal that she got me (especially during these crazy times) is amazing and I couldn’t believe it when she first told me! When my family and I had plans to move out of the area, we had a very long and specific timeline to work with. Not only did we need to sell our house but we needed to find one that would fit our families needs, specific on location and it needed to work with the timeline that we had set. In a world where there are so many realtors to choose from, we knew we needed the RIGHT one. We did a lot of research and we were brought to Kimberly Carey. Working with Kim was our first time working with a realtor at the age of 70. We’ve sold all of our homes ourselves. From our initial meeting to walking out the door Kim far exceeded exceptions. Of course everything went wrong on our last day in the house. Due to circumstances beyond our control we weren’t able to clean the house to our expectations. Kim actually kicked off her heels and helped mop and clean. During closing she made sure we qualified for a homestead exception tax that was expiring on the day of our closing. Kim quickly filed the homestead tax application online for us during our closing. Kim was my agent on the purchase of a new build. She was there for me from beginning to end. Whether it was choosing the different selections for the house prior to the build all the way to closing. Every step of the way she was there to ensure everything was going smoothly during the entire build and all the contract work. If there were any issues that I was unable to communicate with the builder, Kim was there to step in and take care of it. Would definitely work with Kim again.

From the for sale sign with dog to the orange envelope we received at closing, everything was above and beyond. Kim took the time from start to finish to help us understand with great detail, the process of selling our home. She was always available for our questions and our concerns. Kim exceeded all of our expectations! As first time home buyers we had very little knowledge of the process or even what we actually wanted in a home. Because of this, we ended up backing out of the first couple homes we got accepted offers on. Yikes. I know, but Kim was EXTREMELY understanding through it all. She continued to educate, inform, and even made thoughtful suggestions. Without her we definitely would have purchased a fixer upper home our of our league or overpaid for a turd. Kim walked us through buying our home step by step, with the patience of an angel, and spent many late nights working with us. She goes over and beyond, consistently! Any review for Kim will not be able to properly convey just how helpful and knowledgeable she really is. She just helped me buy my first home and made it incredibly easy even though I lived out of state. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me a number of great places. She has the eye of a builder when showing homes and is able to point out where things have been done well or where updates have been done poorly, as well as being able to spot things that could be an issue in the future, which was incredibly important since we were doing all of the showings via FaceTime. Also, as a first-time buyer, this was absolutely amazing because I obviously wouldn't know to look or check for those things myself, and it showed that Kim was really there to help me make the best decision. We eventually found the perfect home and even though I was ready to pay the list price, Kim got me a great deal and saved me thousands of dollars. She went above and beyond every step of the way and since closing has even been a great resource for good painters, etc in the area.
