Chris is a fantastic sales person. He's absolutely no pressure, but most importantly, he's very knowledge about about his product, service and industry. We had a few hiccups in the installation and inspection process, but Chris was always responsive and helped us get things resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend him for future projects.
I want to start off saying that Sun Run was not my first choice when I thought of solar. When I first looked into solar, I started researching Tesla, SolarMax, and a couple others. I had heard Sun Run was always more expensive, so I did not consider them at first. However, a very close friend of mine told me to just talk to the rep they used and give him 30 minutes of your time. I now see why. When looking at solar there are so many variables to consider (I did a ton of research). From panels, load, placement, site line, warranty, batteries, etc... From the very first call till even today Chris was 100% professional, honest, ethical, and efficient. Whenever I reached out to him, he responded to me within a reasonable time and set expectations on solutions/results. I never felt mislead, sold, or misdirected. To top it off, he never spoke poorly of the competition, not once! That goes to show he has great character and believes in his product. He was great at checking in and making sure I understood the process from start to finish. In the end "YES" I did spend more. But it was worth it knowing that I was confident in the company and people I was working with. I even referred a friend of mine who also chose to go with Chris. I have been in sales for over 15 years and managed sales teams as well. I can tell you that Chris is a true asset to your company and will continue to recommend people to him moving forward.

We had just moved and wanted solar in our new home knowing the perks from having solar in our previous home. We shopped around and got quotes from other companies and then we met Chris. He was straight forward and no pressure. We chose Sunrun and received constant updates throughout the whole process of inspection to installation. Chris was always a phone call/text away if we didn’t want to call a specific department. He even followed up once everything was up and running.

First off, I'm weary of sales people in general...
Upon my first contact with Christopher I found him to have a great understanding of the technical side of solar and the battery backup options. Low pressure and informative are two of the main traits that gave me confidence to move forward. We ended up with 24 panels and a Tesla Power Wall. I am 5 months into having my system activated, and couldn't be happier.

We highly recommend Chris Mann for your Sunrun needs. His oversight as a Sunrun consultant was truly exemplary from the initial consultation, identification and recommendations of the system that met our financial and solar needs, availability by phone or email with questions during the installation process for areas that were not under his direct oversight, to his final visit providing us pictures of the final product and making sure we understood how the system works to what to expect billing-wise from the power company. He is very customer service oriented.

Christopher Mann is truly a great person and professional to work with. I got his name from a friend and he lived up to recommendation. Since the process is so new to me, he walked me through every step and was very patient when we requested a new design. I felt comfortable at every step. He has been my go to person even after the solar system was installed. Even though we are in different states it seemed like he was far away. Never had a problem getting him on the phone and answering any of my concerns. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Christopher for guidance and patience through the entire process!

In today's world I think it is rare when you run across someone who delivers exemplary customer service, but Chris Mann did! If it was possible to give more than 5 stars I would. So now let me talk about what he did for us.
First, Chris never pressured me. At the time I started looking into solar, I was up front with Chris and told him I would be looking at other providers and he never got heavy handed trying to push me to his company. What he did do, was tell me, in a low key way, what the advantages I would receive from going through Costco, how Costco would be standing behind Sunrun if I ever felt it was necessary to go beyond Sunrun and he shared the reputation of Sunrun Solar. However, Christopher and Sunrun outshined every other provider. I looked at 10 providers, and frankly, only one salesman gave me as clear a picture and details of how their product would work as Chris did and that same company and saleman was the only one comparable in matching price. That one provider was comparable in price to Sunrun, but couldn't match the Costco rewards, which drove the actual out of pocket price down for Sunrun. Christopher was very detailed in showing me the benefits and down side of their proposal. I debated on whether to go with a battery initially, or wait and see if battery cost would go down. He helped me weigh the decision of waiting, how it would affect the federal tax credit, and how it would affect my enery buy back with the electric company and utilizing peak period buy back. I needed guidance and Christopher gave me the information that I needed to make my decision. He is very skilled in making the technical info understandable to my layman level of knowledge.
When I finally made a decision to go with Sunrun, Chris kept in touch with me through the entire process. There were other people who were responsible for the various pieces of the project, but Chris acted like he had ownership for making sure I understood every step of the process, the timeline, what I should expect, and when it would be done.
Chris provided the paperwork I needed to take for HOA approval. When it was determined I had a condition at my house that had to be rectified before installation began, in order to pass code, Chris let me know what was needed and offered to find someone to do the work. He was very concerned that I could get the situation rectified and how it would impact me.
After the solar work was done, he tagged bases with me and stepped through what to expect from Edison, what my bill would look like and how to monitor my solar production. He made the whole process a breeze! And again, he has a real gift for making explanation of the process understandable.
Lastly, while we were going through this whole process, I had to interject some delays because a member of my family was seriously ill. Christopher was very mindful of my needs and was very concerned that this process did not get in the way of the emergency I was dealing with. He never pressured me. He was totally professional and made me feel like he was personally concerned too.
Sunrun is very lucky to have a consultant of this quality. I honestly can not say enough good to accurately depict every fine characteristic of Christopher Mann. It was a totally pleasant and rewarding experience to have him at the helm of my project.

My experience with Chris was very good. The initial sales call was informative, easy to understand and straight forward. Chris was well prepared and had a very good working knowledge of the Sunrun business model. He explained pricing and the timeline to initiate the project all the way through installation of panels and certification to turn on power by SDGE. When it was time to turn on power from the new Sunrun panels, Chris called to walk me through the process to be sure I was comfortable with the procedure. I enjoyed the overall experience with Chris and would certainly work with him in the future if any further Sunrun needs arise. Chris appears to be a very valuable asset to the Sunrun Team and someone I trust and respect.

Chris was very great to deal with on our experience of looking into and getting solar. Had many bad meetings with other company's and the experience through whole process with Chris was great he made sure to go into a lot of detail on how it all works and made me feel very comfortable with the decision i had made to get solar and go through him.
