My name is Rob Godar and I thank you for joining me on my journey as I share my long-time passion for Silicon Valley Real Estate.

My path to being in business for myself started at a young age. I am a proud Third Generation California native, growing-up in Sunnyvale. It was here that I began my entrepreneurial journey. I was a paperboy for both the Sunnyvale Daily Standard and the San Jose Mercury News. Up before the crack of dawn, and out collecting subscriptions long after the sun went down. I have fond memories of playing in the Metro Little League at Raynor Park. After graduating from Archbishop Mitty High School and attending both DeAnza and SJSU, I ran my own consumer electronics business for twenty years, learning much about business ownership and about the world of “sales”.

After both my uncle and aunt passed away earlier this year, we contacted Rob to handle the selling of their home. At every step Rob was professional and extremely knowledgable about the housing market in San Jose. He did lots of background work to determine if we should accept an offer with contigencies which all worked out. He also coordinated the staging and cleaning of the house and removal of other household items. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase or sell their home.

Rob was great from beginning to end, and we couldn't have asked for a better agent for our first home purchase! He started with a warm welcome: Introducing us to his team and inoculating us to the buying process. He gave us some homework (ranking the features of our perfect home), then it was off to scout properties. He was with us week-in week-out with any questions or viewing requests we had; very accommodating to our schedule. He helped us through the offer strategy, and helped us get a great offer accepted in a tight market. During closing he kicked into the highest gear to ensure we performed due-diligence and closed on-time. 10/10 and I look forward for the next time I have cause to buy or sell and work with Rob!

Rob helped our mom get her home after divorce. She had been renting for many years thinking she would never get a home of her own . Rob got her through the process and even gave up some of his commission to make sure she got this home . This home meant everything to her and Rob made it possible. Sadly, she passed away. We went through my Mom's paperwork and found Rob's information and contacted him. He came right out to meet with us. He remembered my Mom. Being the Executor of my Mom's Estate, he and a probate lawyer he knew got us through the entire process. Rob made sure the home was prepared and showed beautifully. Rob is a true professional on one hand — and he’s like the helpful next door neighbor on the other. He handles everything, from recommending painters, to handymen. With every problem, he has an answer, and a well qualified person to do each job. I highly trecommend him. He sold my house for a very good price — in two days. Excellent!

I don't know where to start with Rob! This was my first time being on the house search and Rob was extremely helpful, walking me through the process from start to finish. I could not thank him enough for the patience he demonstrated with me - I really didn't know what I wanted when we started, but he listened to my likes and dislikes from each place and quickly (and easily) honed in on what I was really drawn to. He is a wealth of knowledge and, while I got a bit hesitant putting my first couple of offers in, he was able to advise without putting any pressure on me -- he always had my best interest in mind.

Rob is very experienced and knowledgeable within real estate. However, I think it was his counsel, patience, dedication, and constant positivity that I appreciated the most. He made everything much less stressful than I anticipated and I cannot be more grateful.

Recently we called upon Mr. Godar to represent us in the sale of a condo at 20 Ryland Park Drive, San Jose. We impressed upon Mr. Godar the urgency of the sale, however, the desired time line seriously conflicted with a personal timeline of Mr. Godar and a long-planned family vacation. Rather than delay the listing for several weeks, Mr. Godar and his team began immediately (the same day!) to establish a network of essential activity to list the unit, conduct an open house and entertain three offers all within a week. The unit was in escrow within eight days, including several phone calls from Mr. Godar while on vacation. His team handled the day to day processing of inspections, essential repairs, and closing in a thorough and professional manner. The closing occurred on time and without complications. Wow! What can I say about Rob Godar and his Team?! I saw this house on the market, called Rob and was given the chance to see a few days later. He finds out we can write an offer and it's done that day! His suggestions on what to offer got mine accepted as a first time home buyer with no problem! He really knows his stuff and does not pressure you into making a decision based off what he tells you!

Rob Godar was amazing as we navigated the real estate world for the first time! He walked us through everything so we truly understood what was going on. When my mom died last September, my husband and I were tasked with selling her home in Sunnyvale. Since we live in North Carolina, it limited our ability to be present during the process of preparing the house and having it on the market.
Rob and his team went above and beyond to assure that every detail was taken care of in a professional manner. He listened to our needs and he had a great team of people to prepare the house for sale. They had wonderful, creative ideas and implemented the needed upgrades to the house in a very timely and economical way. Rob was my realtor through thick and thin for the sale of my property. I am a single independent woman. We had several hiccups during the time frame of the sale including an illness, my retirement and an unexpected water damage. He and Linda were there through all of it. His knowledge of the area and market was extremely helpful. He was always very supportive of my feelings and wishes. He allowed me to direct the sale with his guidance.
