The Crew that cam out did as exactly as asked. Best of all... the money we've saved is incredible. Our portion of payment to PG&E has been averaging about $3.50 per month. The reasons why we chose to go with SolarCity were these: They didn't try to oversell me the system; when asked to give me some time to think it over they did so without hesitation; I did spend some time looking around and comparing companies; and... my dad recommended them! I had my system installed and now he is installing one of his very own through Brady and SolarCity.

My experience with Solar City has been great. It really has been one of the best buying experiences of my life. I have wanted a solar system for a long time but felt the cost was too high for the return. Our sales person was very experienced and showed us a couple options. We settled on the 20 year lease. The math was simple and we are excited to have our system turned on soon. Every aspect of the sale and installation has been very professional. We have been impressed with all 3 crews of Solar City employees. The 3 visits and planning was all done on computer and the guys were willing to show me anything i asked. The biggest thing was that there have been no surprises. None. The work has all been done very cleanly and you can hardly tell there is a system on the roof. If the day to day service is half as good as the sale and install I will be happy. From Brady Anderson in sales to Mark Hajder (install crew lead) and everyone in between I have been VERY IMPRESSED! I have to admit, I was very hesitate a first about this whole solar system, but after talking with Brady, I believe the system will work for us. I really liked Brady's friendliness and his knowledge of the Solar system. He was patient with us asking so many questions, he even made an extra trip to the house to go over the contract with us, page by page!!

We purchased energy efficiency products (a new furnace, ducts, etc.) AND solar panels from Brady and Solar City. So we've made a big investment! Brady was extremely helpful and informative throughout the whole process. We asked a lot of questions and if he couldn't answer them, he went to the right resource to get them. Brady never hurried us even though we really took our time to make these decisions.
We've had a number of Solar City employees at our house. They've all been competent and friendly. They all understood that at the end of the day they wanted a happy customer so they were willing to do what it takes to make that happen. They use their own employees to do the work (not contractors) so they take pride in what they do. I wholeheartedly recommend Brady and the gang at Solar City.

Our school, SJCOE Venture Academy, installed a huge 500kWb Solar Parking Lot with Solar City, and my class was able to see the daily construction and job shadow, so I knew I could trust them.
Finding the right solar company is what held us back before. How do you find a reliable company that will be there long after the PV system is installed to maintain it in-house?
Brady worked with us until we understood and were comfortable with our ultimate decision to lease instead of taking out an equity loan. We ran the monthly cost on several spreadsheets until we saw it would save us more money in the long run to make a down payment instead of no money down. An equity loan would be 5% versus going with the lease at 1.9%.
He did not use any tactics. I even asked him to bug me each week as I am a high school energy teacher and am very busy. We choose a 6kW system with an electric car charging port for that all electric vehicle we are shopping for to commute to work with.

I was excited to get a referral check a few weeks ago for $400. I have referred a few people and I am glad it worked for them too! I sure wouldn’t mind a few more of these and I know you would like them too! I can’t wait until I make it through this first full year of having both solar arrays in operation for the full year. I think it is going to make a big difference. I only had the second array from mid-June to November last year and it helped, but I didn’t see the full impact. This November, I can really judge how things have worked out. Thanks again!
