Selling my Mom�s house, 41 years after we built it from the ground up when I was just 15 years old, was emotional and stressful. We didn�t even know where to start, but we had heard great things about Dana as a realtor, so we gave her a call. From the first moment we talked, I knew she understood that this was more than a real estate transaction for me. She was very compassionate and sensitive to the personal aspect while also providing us with excellent advice on pricing and marketing.
It wasn�t long before I felt as if Dana loved our home as much as we did. Because we were living out of state, we were not present when she would do showings. Dana always provided a prompt update on each person she walked through the property, and at the same time, she shared something with me that she loved about the house. She treated our home as if it were her own parents�, and so I truly felt as if the house was in good hands while we were away.
Dana is just the best person and an outstanding realtor. She is kind, positive, encouraging, realistic, honest, diligent, and a committed professional. I truly appreciated how she leveraged her resources to provide us with professional photos of the house to show off our best features, how she employed modern marketing tactics to reach a nationwide audience, and especially how she worked hard at relationship-building with both us, as the seller, as well as with the buyer. Dana�s communication skills really set her apart as she stayed in touch frequently, was timely in her responses to my questions, and was also proactive in reaching out to interested buyers. I felt as if she played a pivotal role in securing the buyers we closed with. Without her patience and tenacity, we would still have a For Sale sign in the yard!

Dana started off a stranger and became a great friend as she helped me in the home buying process from half way across the country. She was ALWAYS kind and patient. She is very knowledgeable about what she does and very resourceful. The home buying process was such an excruciating process due to the lenders we were working with, but she persisted and my partner and i were finally able to get our beautiful home out in the quaint, friendly, farming town of Ulysses, KS. Unfortunately, just a year later, we were putting that home back on the market and Dana was there every step of the way. Due to unforeseen city, the home had to be short-saled, so here we�re again, fighting with the lender to get every detail right to move forward when Dana finally found a buyer. This was a challenging ordeal, but Dana never gave up as she is dedicated to making her clients happy whether it�s having their dream home or having to abort a less than pleasant situation. She�s very kind, caring, and hardworking. She will always get the job done. I highly recommend Dana Trahern and NextHome realty.
