Four years ago I was inspired and motivated by my personal loan officer to do something more with my career. While viewing my paystubs for a refinance, he saw my potential and straight up told me I needed to be making more money. I took this to heart and was blessed to have the opportunity to become a Loan Officer.

What my clients appreciate most about working with me is that they know it is my priority to look out for their needs, listen to what they want, and deliver on my promises.

I find such satisfaction in helping people get into homes that they, at times, never thought was even possible. I pride myself on serving others by helping bridge the wealth gap in housing for the black community.

When I started planning on buying a house 2 years ago. I reached out to Torrie with a few questions. With no surprise he was very knowledgeable and was able to explain everything in a way I was able to retain the information. So when my wife and I was finally got ready to get approved the market was hot high rates low stock. My family was able to look at two house and put an offer in on the second house we seen on Dec 9. We moved in
January 19 this is our first purchased home. I gotta say we were scared at first from all the stories we heard but our story out time with Torrie couldn’t gone any better he made my and I very happy throughout the process. You can tell his clients are priority like close family.

Torrey is simply the best. He’s take his time to explain the ins and outs of you loan process. Patient with getting to the details. Has no problem going above and beyond what’s expected. He was able to expedite our process and accommodate our home loan needs.

Oh my where do I start. So after being denied not once but twice, Torrey got me in a house. He got me in my dream home. We overcame so many obstacles and when I say we I mean he did everything he could to make sure I got my home. He stuck in there with me even when it got bleak and I for sure knew I wasn’t going to get it. He encouraged me to stay positive because when you stay positive good things come to you. The process was pretty quick. As long as you are prepared for the process, Torrey will not waste his or your time. I have been in my house for 2 weeks now. I think he has went above and beyond by following up after the purchase of my dream home. If I have any questions, he has been more than willing to answer or find out for me leading me in the right direction. Thank you so much Torrey for helping me when it seemed no one else would. I would truly recommend using Torrey as your lending agent. Oh and he’s super friendly so that makes the interactions with him even better.

I couldn't wait to fill out this survey!! My experience was beyond amazing!

I was having so many frustrating moments with my orginal lender. I WAS DONE! The process wasn't fun and exciting anymore. My realtor reached out to me and now I'm looking at my dream home. I go to update my lender and she switch companies and I had to start to process all over again. I was so disappointed and felt defeated because I had to start over!

My realtor referred me to Torrey to get the ball rolling right away. Everything was last minute, so I already had my mind made up that if he gave me too much hassle, I would sprint back to my orginal lender and continue to take the punches. There was not a single frustrating moment from start to finish!! He got my pre-approval to my realtor within hours! Submitting my paperwork to him was seemless. Reminder: As a first time home buyer, this is a scary and new process! He was very informative and calming. Talked me through alot of things and explained what was going on. I was so at ease and beyond greatful. I am so appreciative because everything was so last minute and he got me through it so effortlessly. 10/10 recommended!!!

Although my house hunting experience lasted over a year, Torrey stayed in communication with me letting me know I wasn’t just a client but his client. Mr. Barnes was referred to me by our son, whom he went to school with, and from the beginning I was able to see why they have been friends for so long. After contracting Mr. Barnes and letting him know what my wife and I were looking for, he went to work immediately and nonstop to get us qualified for a home owners loan. He was extremely patient with us from beginning to the end of the process, and even worked with me while I was hospitalized to close the deal. I have never worked with someone as professional and caring about his clients as this young man. He proved that his position is not a job, but a mission to satisfy his clients.
