Barry Zelin from Trinity Solar has been calling on me at my residence in Harrison, NY for close to a decade, having offered me 3 proposals at different times, most recently last October (2024). We rejected the first 2 proposals because the payback period was close to 10 years, far too long and expensive for my taste. However, last October, after solar panel prices had fallen, efficiency of the panels had risen, and Federal / State subsidies had been optimized, the payback period suddenly fell to below 4 years, meaning I could produce 90 - 95% of my annual electricity consumption with a solar panel installation, and after making the initial outlay of capital cost for the project, would recoup my costs in less than 4 years (closer to 3.5 years in fact). After procuring a competitive bid to make sure pricing was in-line with the market, we contracted with Trinity. Every promise Barry made to us has been kept, and he has delivered upside to most of them: (1) Time to get the permits approved was faster by at least a month; (2) The install took just 2 days instead of 3; (3) Time for ConEd to finish inspections and turn on the system was shorter than expected; and finally / most importantly, (4) the kilowatt hours that the system is producing is more than the ~90% estimate so far, which means we are currently putting back electricity to the grid, thereby earning credits to offset our electricity bill. Since mid-October, 2024, our system has produced about 13.3 megawatt hours of electricity while we have consumed about 12.2 megawatt hours to date (end of May 2025). Thus, we have nearly 1.1 megawatts of electricity credit that will offset our soon to be high consumption of electricity once we turn our AC's on. Barry assured us that all of this was apt to happen, but I was still skeptical. Here we are more than 7 months in, and we are well ahead of consumption. All of that said, no large install / project is without hiccups, and ours has been that 2 of our 47 panels have malfunctioned. The panels enjoy a 30-year warranty, and within a couple of weeks the Trinity techs came out and fixed the issue. They did this at zero cost given the warranty, but it took a bit longer than my liking, the only blemish in my mind, a minor one. In sum, Barry Zelin made lots of promises, kept all of them, delivered upside to most of them, and earned a 5 star rating given the system came in at or below the proposed budget, and is delivering more energy than I had thought it would, a terrific result in an energy world where prices keep going up. Lastly, importantly, and not be underestimated or minimized, Barry Zelin's a good guy, and he makes the process easy and seam-less. Barry will come to your home with a laptop, map out the roof and its angles with Google Earth and Trinity's proprietary software, and can tell you how much energy you'll produce. You'll have your last 12 months ConEd bills on the ready so you can see what your actual consumption has been, and then will be able to see what you'll save on an annual basis. We had Trinity Solar install solar power on our roof about 15 months ago and are delighted to share that the entire experience has been excellent -- Barry, the Consultant / sales representative was thorough, honest, timely, and prepared. He answered all of our questions effectively and made the process seamless. The installation crew was hardworking, courteous, and attentive. There are some hoops to jump through in terms of getting the City (White Plains, in our case) to approve everything and activate the system but Trinity facilitated the process well. The electrical crew upgraded our capacity and also installed a charging base for our EVs, including having to negotiate some tricky logistics in terms of the placement of the unit in our garage. Thanks to Trinity, we are now powering our entire home's (and cars') electricity in a way that saves us money and does good for the environment.

I shopped around a bunch of different Solar companies before I chose Trinity. I was linked up with Barry Zelin who is a sales rep. My house was under major construction so we didnt have a utility bill to see the usage. He did a analysis of all my electrical items that we were installing along with hvac, appliances and fixtures. They determined an amount for the usage with the engineering department on Kilowatt usage. All of this was new to me but Barry educated and explained everything in detail. I was always skeptical about these solar companies but Barry made the process extremely easy and had answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Barry and Trinity Solar. I love my system. My con ed bill is only $50.00 a month for a 4500 sq ft home. Amazing!! 5 Stars and highly recommend!

We purchased our panels, and they have been working without any problems for nine months now. Barry is extremely knowledgeable, patient, not pushy, and responsive. He was able to define our system in real time on his first visit, and provide a full breakdown on costs, rebates and payback (all of which were as Barry stated). The Trinity installation team was professional, clean and quick. Our contact (Juliette) coordinated all the activities and made sure to have any of our questions answered quickly. We did get quotes from three other Solar companies, but their consultants (salesmen) were poorly informed, and needed to get designs and prices from their office (one of their designs put panels on the back roof where there is little to no sun). We have recommended Trinity to others and they have also chosen Trinity. My payback will be faster than what Barry estimated. Thanks Trinity

Worked with Barry - he was affable and informative, in no way pushy, and most importantly was extremely patient with my many (many) questions! We went back and forth a bit via email and text after our first meeting (just to reiterate, he was so great to work with!) and finally signed in mid- late February. Process was so easy and seamless, not very time consuming.. they have a notary come to your house for final signing, they were so accommodating! We were up and running in less than 3 months! We received our first Con Ed bill post installation and relished in the immediate savings!
