She helped me find the perfect neighborhood and the perfect home for me and my three kids. Now that they are older I love that they can ride their bikes to friends or the local stores. It's been 5 years and we couldn't be happier.

People say that buying a house can be stressful... that is an understatement. Especially when you're buying AND selling have two toddlers a dog and are also expecting. Laura navigated us through MONTHS of house hunting negotiating and all the idiosyncrasies of real estate with the calmness and knowledge of a true seasoned professional. Laura also showed extreme patience and poise in circumstances that just about sent me over the edge which in turn calmed me down and allowed me to take pause and give thought to the situation. I would highly recommend her!

Laura is the type of agent that any home buyer would want. My situation was unique to say the least! Laura enthusiastically showed me numerous homes on 3 separate occasions over 2 years as the sale of my home went in and out of contract During this time she successfully negotiated on my behalf offers on 3 homes the last in which I currently reside. Beyond Excellent was my experience with Laura Barr. Our first meeting was so smooth - just a way to connect and she had no intention of rushing us or setting her own agenda. It was truly all about our desires. Since we had been living in our home for 25 years it was a very arduous and emotional process for my family and me. Laura is steady dependable always reachable and takes the time to source others in her field and in the community who can assist her and her clients. My husband and I felt she engaged in a comprehensive study each time we met or spoke. Laura imbued great patience and intelligent recommendations from our first meeting to the offering process through attorney review and beyond. She never let go of my hand! And Laura gave us her entire attention throughout every detail as if we were her only client. And what's more she is still there for us!

I went to an open house for one of Laura's listings that I was very interested in. As a former Agent myself I wanted to work directly with the listing agent. Working with Laura on the buy side I experienced what a great agent she was first hand. We ended up moving forward with her listing and we quickly realized that it was time to sell. I always thought I would sell my home for sale by owner as I have always represented myself in the past but the speed urgency commitment and professionalism that Laura displayed made me think I should list with Laura. I gave her my listing on Saturday am and she had it up by Saturday afternoon. We had an open house on Sunday and selected from multiple offers over ask within the first 72 hours and were in and out of attorney review before it was on the market for 7 days. She was always available to show the home and found time to share real time feedback. She was there for every showing negotiation inspection walk through etc and made the transaction effortless. I highly recommend Laura and I would only say that about the best as I was an Agent myself.

My boyfriend and I were first time home buyers so we were very new to the real estate market and what to expect. Laura was extremely helpful from day 1. She made herself available whenever we needed her and provided great feedback each step of the way. As the market was quite crazy as we were searching for a home it was a very stressful process but Laura made things easy for us and allowed us to enjoy it as much as we could. Laura was very direct with the sellers agent to get important information for us regarding houses we were looking at and putting in offers with. The feedback that she received was eventually how we were able to secure our new home. Without Laura and her guidance it would've been a very different experience. We are so grateful for all the help she gave us along the way and her support through a long journey. We finally have moved into our new home and we couldn't be happier! We found the perfect place to buy before we put our existing home on the market. We made an offer to buy with a house sale contingency which was not accepted. Laura immediately went into action getting our house photographed and on the multiple listing service in less than 48 hours! We received multiple offers within two days and had a bidding war which resulted in an all cash offer well above our already aggressive asking price. Unbelievable! Laura also coordinated the home inspections and obtained the certificate of occupancy for our sale (after finding us an electrician on short notice to make some necessary repairs) and paved the way for two of the smoothest closings we have ever experienced.
