David is an experienced professional, whose great advice helped us sell our home in just a few days, with multiple offers, significantly over the asking price. It was the easiest thing ever! He is such a respectful gentleman, who considered our needs first and really cares about the clients that he represents...something that is pretty hard to come by these days! He is very personable and knowledgeable, and while he can't make decisions for you, he interprets the merits and drawbacks of each offer very well, making it easy to make the right decision. He has a great handle on the current local market and the general economy. He provides practicable advice on what fixing up expenses need to be done, that will highlight the best of your property. He also has a mortgage brokerage. I would highly, highly recommend anyone to hire David Dufresne!!!

I bought a house in Castro Valley through David, many years ago. He just helped me sell that same house, 20 years later, for top dollar. He also helped my fiance and I buy another home in Livermore. Both buy transactions had multiple bids and honestly, dont think I would have been successful with the winning bids, at either house, without David. If I could give 20 stars I would. David Dufresne sold my house in three days. But before he sold it there was some work to be done. I took all of Davids advice. The work was amazing and on time.

David is one of few honest, up front kind of realtors that really understands the seller or buyers needs. He was always there for me and I truly appreciate everything he did for me to sell my house and for more than what I was asking.

Working with David was a great decision! David impressed me as having the very highest integrity and deep expertise in working on unique situations involving trusts, probate, etc. Additionally, this home wasn’t necessarily an easy property to sell. Beyond integrity, I admired his proactive approach, candidness and having our backs and the trust’s best interest as well. David helped us navigate, step by step, through a challenging sale. David was recommended to us to when we sold a rental property to our tenant who was living there. We didn't need a traditional listing agreement since we already had our buyer but we did want someone to handle the transaction making sure the documents were correct and the process was on schedule. He did all that for a fraction of a traditional listing commission. David is also very knowledgeable about real estate financing and shared with us options for our grown children who are ready to buy homes. We have recommended that they meet with him to explore their options and to learn about the complex process of buying a home. David is personable, professional, knowledgeable about real estate and financing, and his low commission transaction service allowed us to keep a lot more money from our investment property.

We asked our estate planning attorney, Ken Begun, for the name of a real estate professional who could assist in putting together and closing a real estate transaction between two willing parties. Ken recommended David Dufresne to us. We owned a condominium in Danville which we wanted to sell and our tenant wanted to buy. We did not need either a listing agent nor a buying agent nor did either of us want to pay the fees associated with a traditional real estate transaction.

David Dufresne was professional in every way. He explained the process to both parties, telling us that he was representing neither party but would put together all of the documents needed to complete the deal. And he did.

Our sale went exactly as promised and we could not be more pleased with David's work or the successful outcome achieved.

He is creative and solution focused while also being realistic. David advocates for his clients best interests even when it may not benefit him most; he is trustworthy. David assisted my family in a complicated 1031 partnership exchange of one apartment building into multi homes and multi-unit purchases., He advice was spot on about what we should expect to happen and how things actually transpired.
