If I could give more than five stars, I would. Gene Dupuis and all of the staff at Open Mortgage did more than work for me. They were honest and persistent in every single transaction. Jade made me feel like my loan was the only thing she was working on and I know that she was helping others like me throughout my process. Every single hurdle we came to, the team took it on like a runner not just passing the baton but working simultaneously with each other to make sure we got to the finish line. I closed on my forever home after six extensions/delays due to Nations Lending leading meto believe that they were capable and waiting til the initial closing to let Mr know that the loan still hadn't been approved by underwriting. Open Mortgage listened to my concerns, resolved any indiscrepancies that were caused by miscommunication on Nations Lending part of my current and past employment, helped me find the surveyor who had promised to send the survey for several weeks and then went MIA... we closed on Dec 21st and it meant everything to me that Gene was at my closing. I have been working full-time as a nurse throughout this and they worked as hard as my husband and I did to make our dream a reality. Thank you just isn't enough. If you need a lender, do not hesitate to give Gene, Jade and their team a chance. We learned about Gene's services through our grandson-in-law. When we met with him on the first occasion, we knew immediately we had the "right guy" for what we needed. He provided us with all the options available to us and helped in choosing our mortgage, based on our circumstances. Gene and his staff kept us updated on a regular basis, particularly when the mortgage landscape changed and had the potential to affect our mortgage. Gene was awesome to work with... he took on my loan after we already had a contract and offered a more competitive option with better rate and lower closing cost. I am self-employed so I was a little hesitant about getting fully approved and through underwriting with a new lender but Gene guided us through the entire process and delivered on everything he promised or said. He was always available and communicated with us on every aspect of the loan/loan process. His team is top notch and I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a loan that wants a lender you can trust, a smooth process and closing on time. We were actually clear to close about a week before the actually closing date. Thank you Gene and the Open Mortgage team!!
