Jeff was referred to us by a mutual friend and a past client of his. Since we had never seen our investment property, we needed someone that would be able to get it ready to sell since we would be completely hands off during the entire process. Jeff coordinated with inspections got us quotes for haulers, cleaners, painters, wood floor contractors, and home furnishing stagers. While doing all of this he put our property on Compass Coming Soon and found us, home buyers, before it went to market. We had received multiple offers while off-market and before any work started. Jeffrey took time to explain our choices of accepting one of the off-market offers or doing the work to get it ready for market, put it on the market then set an offer date. We decided to work with one of the offers received and moved forward with one. Before we could close Jeff had us talk with a tax accountant since we were foreign owners. He also handled everything with our neighborhood homeowner association so that the transition would be smooth. Unfortunately our sale was happening as the world was shutting down due to COVID-19. Jeffrey kept checking daily to secure an appointment for me and my husband at the US Consulate here in Shanghai. Everything had shut down due to COVID-19, we weren't sure if we would be able to complete the sale due to the shutdowns. Jeff and his team helped advise us through the entire process even as things kept changing due to coronavirus. We were able to close almost a month past our expected date (2 years ago today) thanks to the hard work that Jeff and his team did to keep us on track. The buyers and their agent were patient and well informed during the entire process. We highly recommend Mr. Banks for all your real estate needs.
