I met Amanda when I was planning to sell my home. She was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. I immediately felt comfortable with her - as she seemed both knowledgeable and "real". I trusted her answers to my questions and her open, relaxed (hip?) attitude. I'm glad I did, as it was a wonderful decision!
I can tell you that the experience of selling my home with Amanda was incredibly positive. She is a true professional. I saw first-hand her client-oriented nature. There were several times where (in the course of the sales process) she could have taken the "easy way out" but that she instead went the extra mile to ensure that I was getting the best result. In other words, she represented me and my interest very well, turning over every stone and making every effort possible. I don't think most realtors do that - not at all. But she did at every step along the way.
One of those "extra mile" events was in ensuring that my house was spotlessly clean, properly staged, and refreshed through doing some updating. Although I thought my house looked great before the sales process, it really looked especially stunning when the property hit the market. Amanda made that happen through a huge amount of effort on her part and through bringing in some excellent resources like a professional stager, painter, etc. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that, as I was dealing with a sick family member and was out of the state during this time. Amanda brought together the right team.
But there was much more than just that. Amanda ensured that my house "hit" the market with maximum impact. The initial open houses were a rousing success - lots of interest. Sort of a feeding frenzy even. That led to a very fast pre-emptive offer from an excellent and well-qualified buyer who loved my home as much as I do. I was very pleased with the results.
Amanda did an exemplary job before we got on market, during the time she got the house perfectly prepped, and after the sale. i would very, very highly recommend her to any home seller.

I dont often take the time to right recommendations because I believe people should do great work because that is what their job it but every once in awhile someone goes beyond 'what is expected' and deserves acknowledgment and that is the case with my experience with Amanda Jones and the sale of my brothers property in SF as part of his estate. I will not tell the whole story but I will just mention a few of the reasons I would recommend Amanda:
1. Amanda listens and then acts. She doesn't do what so many real estate people do which is listen and then do what they want. She gives advice based on her expertise and then a decision is made and she executes
2. Amanda EXECUTES!! Everything that needed to be done was done, it was done on time, correctly, no surprises and best of all she did everything within a very reasonable budget. Amanda really acted as a GC for the preparation of the house for sale and I never did anything but inspect and write a check (very good workers at very reasonable prices
3. Amanda communicated from the beginning to the end and that is so critical
4. Amanda did the due diligence to make sure she understood the market and the house value accurately.
Okay that's enough, you get the point, if you need an agent to sell your house hire her and be done with it and no I am not related to her and she did not pay me to write this :).
