My core belief is that what is in the best interest of my client is ultimately in my best interest. As the Masters and Rockwood team, my partner, Bill Masters and I strive to earn a reputation of honesty and hard work for those we represent. My career started as a very young girl working at College Real Estate in Granada Hills, California. I was ten. I filed paperwork and emptied trash cans, so I feel that this is where I was meant to end up.
After I graduated college with a business degree I was not sure where I wanted to direct my work life. On a bet with a family friend I went to work on a construction crew to prove I could handle anything they threw at me. I ended up becoming the assistant to the project superintendent at Strauss Construction in Los Angeles. That started a 30 year work life.
As I got older, and after a divorce I worked for Hospice clients while I worked on another college degree, and decided where my next career would lead me. I settled on a real estate license. I have been licensed since 2011, and truly love what I do.
I am a mother of three, and grandmother of five. I have one grandson who lives with me. He is three and he owns my heart.

Last year when we were looking to locate to the Grass Valley area we called Intero Real Estate and spoke to Denise. On short notice she met us on a Saturday to show us homes in the area.
Once we decided on a home, Denise was instrumental in helping us set up inspection to get the information we needed to get escrow underway. She was very available to answer questions and was the go between the seller's agent, the escrow agent and the title company.

I met Denise in 2012 by accident while going to breakfast. We were looking at all the homes for sale taped to the outside window of the real estate company she worked for. She came out of the office and politely introduced herself, and offered to give us a printout of available homes in our area of interest. She absolutely did not pressure us in any way and we parted ways. We commented with our relatives who were with us that she certainly wasn't pushy...which we appreciated. Called her later and the fun began! We spent many hours looking for the perfect home and she found it for us in January 2013 and we took possession in early February. We had just experienced a very poor real estate situation selling our home in Penn Valley and what a complete relief it was to work with her. She goes the extra mile without missing a step and kept us informed throughout the entire buying process. I would recommend her for any position without hesitation as she knows what she is doing!
