We closed on a single-family house in San Carlos, CA in early 2018 after touring multiple homes in Peninsula. We met Julie in one of the open houses where it all started with casual talk about the housing market in Bay area. We realized she was quite knowledgeable and has a genuine interest in the work she does. So, we decided to work with her and later it proved a very good decision on our side!
Julie was patient, extremely attentive about our lifestyle and took the time to listen to our needs first. Then with her thorough housing market research and wealth of knowledge, she filtered out many inapt houses and took us only to the selected few which was a great time and effort saver for us. In this strong seller's market, timing, experience, evaluating contingencies, deciding on offer amount, and ability to connect & negotiate with seller agent are key things to win a house in a coveted neighborhood. I must say Julie was extremely good in all these departments. The house which we were able to successfully bid had generated a good deal of buzz in the area, attracted lots of footfall during the open house and was eventually heading for fierce bid war. We, equipped with Julie’s invaluable professional experience, were able to strategically prepare our offer. We made the offer, put our trust on Julie and left for vacation! It was our middle of holiday escape when Julie called us and shared the good news!! In our absence, she handled all the formalities and paperwork too.
Overall, Julie is an easy-going, fun person to work with, and besides she always offered sound advice during the entire process which helped us in deciding which house to chose and which one to let go. We always felt like she was truly representing our best interests. We would love to work with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking to buy/sell house in Peninsula and South Bay.
