We used Chris Sinnett for our reverse mortgage on our house. He was referred to us by our sister that was very happy with his help. Upon meeting him we knew right away that our sister was right. He answered all our questions and explained them thoroughly so we could understand them. He is very knowledgeable in his field and we would recommend him to anybody that wants to do a reverse mortgage.

Chris helped us get a reverse mortgage loan for my mom. He was there every step of the way and guided us through the process. He's very hands on and always available for questions, concerns or if you just want to talk. Chris is a very kind and caring person and when I met him I knew my mom was in good hands. Unfortunately, mom passed away a month ago but Chris still there for us and is helping us in dealing with the lender requirements that were triggered upon mom's passing. Chris was extremely helpful in explaining the reverse mortgage process to one of my clients as an option for buying out her spouse's share of equity in their condo so that she could stay in the home following the divorce. His presentation was both professional and easily understandable to those not familiar with mortgage jargon. I trust Chris's expertise in his field and his ability to guide clients through the reverse mortgage process. When we decided to purchase home using the Reverse Mortgage Purchase plan it was all very new to us. We had been home owners in Simi Valley, Ca for 36 years, then made the decision to move to NO CA to be closer to our daughter and her family in 2014. We looked in vain for a home to buy, then our financial advisor told us he felt we should rent. We found a home in Vallejo, CA and rented there from Nov. 2014 until Oct. 2014 when we realized it would be too expensive to keep renting and made the decision to once again become home owners.
We had seen the commercial many times about Reverse Mortgage, but did not realize that it was possible to buy another home even though we had sold our home of 36 years. Our realtor from Simi Valley told us about the Reverse Mortgage Purchase process and explained it. Our financial advisor was not exactly thrilled with our decision. He was unsure of how honest the mortgage company running this process would be. He did know about Chris Sinnett, having done business with him at Merrill Lynch in West Lake Village, CA. He gave us a good report as to what kind of a person Chris was.
We contacted the Reverse Mortgage folks and Chris was our 'go to' guy. He was very good about keeping in contact with us, understanding our concerns about the whole process. He gave us many phone calls, sent emails and was there to answer our questions all the time. He even made a drive all the way up to Vallejo to meet with us in person and go through the MANY pages of the documents, page by page--explaining everything in a very clear manner. He was very insistent that we follow through with the counseling part of the process. We met with people in Santa Rosa to do the counseling. They were also very helpful and direct in explanation of any part we had trouble understanding as it applied to us.
Chris has been very diligent about keeping in touch with us even after we purchased our home in Antioch using the Reverse Mortgage Purchase plan. He has called us several times to make sure everything is still OK and he is a very personable guy--we enjoy talking to him and he is welcome in our home at any time!
My closing sentence would be this. He has follow-through which is vital to people who are completing a purchase process that is new and rather complicated. That is the kind of person everyone needs when they are making a serious financial decision. We highly recommend Chris with complete confidence.

We have done many mortgages, and re-finances over the years, but our reverse mortgage done by Chris Sinnett was by far the easiest, most efficient we have ever done. He was always available to answer any concerns we had, he handled everything for us, all in all a most pleasant experience.
