I am an entrepreneur first and an investor second.
As an operator I was Co-Founder & CEO of KACE, acquired by Dell in 2010. Prior to that, I was among the first ten employees and ran marketing for mobile pioneer, AvantGo which went public on NASDAQ and was later acquired by Sybase.
As an investor, I love working with sharp, cohesive teams who build companies the old fashioned way. Thoughtful strategy, hard work and a scrappy style will go a long way in any market.
Some entrepreneurs need to run free and others want help -- as an investor I strive to find the right balance between the two for each situation.
