It’s hard to write a review about Dorit as there are a too much great things to say and I don’t want to make it too long, so will try to squeeze here.
We recently bought our first home with Dorit and she is amazing.
She is pleasant to work with as a person, very helpful and warm. She spends lots of time talking with her clients any time of a day to listen to their needs, and you get a feeling you’re talking to your family member.
Dorit is super professional, has superb negotiation skills and exceeds any expectations you might have for a real estate agent. Whether it’s a seller credit you deserve to get or reaching out to the school district to make sure you belong to the expected schools and that there is a place there. Her help does not stop when you purchase the home and extends to helping with professionals when it comes to remodeling or fixing anything in the house.
She has superb interior design skills and can suggest changes that will look amazing and will have a positive impact on the house appreciation.
Advice for future clients - trust her and go with her suggestions, she knows better than you and it will take some time for you to understand it.

I would like to share our wonderful experience working with our real estate agent Dorit Alon on our recent home purchase in Sunnyvale.

After checking all inventories in Sunnyvale, (Stockelmeir /Ortega park area) we were convinced we were ready to write an offer on a house. Dorit recommended that we meet in person to review all disclosures and reports before we submitted the offer. She wanted us to feel confident with our offer and prevent unnecessary surprises later. After 3 hours of thoroughly reviewing all the reports, we agreed on the offer price and terms. Just before signing the papers Dorit stopped us and said: “This might surprise you…but after spending a few hours and talking about that house I don’t think you should submit an offer on it!! Yes, it is a nice house and I know there is not too much to choose from right now, but I feel that your heart is not in it... You simply did not fall in love with that house. It is a big commitment and in the long run I don’t feel it is the best house for your family. I promise you a better one will come. I have done it so many times, please trust me…skip that house!"

We were astounded by her honesty and professionalism even when it was in her best interest to make the sale and after spending so many hours with us on that house. We asked her why she did it, and she said with confidence: “I can read between the lines… and your hearts are not “in-it”. I don’t want to sell you “A house”, but the “RIGHT house”!! I want you to buy a house that will answer your immediate family needs and one that will make you happy for years to come. This is not a small purchase…you cannot afford to make mistakes, and from my perspective you MUST Fall in love with it!

When do you ever hear a realtor say this?? She was absolutely right.

A week later, Dorit contacted us and said, “ I found you a great home! The owners already listed the house with an agent and they are getting ready to list it on MLS, so let me see what I can do before it hits the market… “ A WEEK LATER WE WERE IN CONTRACT. Thanks to her perseverance and proactive approach reasoning with the owners and the listing agent, along with her deep local market knowledge and negotiation skills, we got in contract quickly. She negotiated for us the best terms to accommodate our needs and still meet the seller’s wishes and timelines. It was a WIN-WIN situation. Her lender closed our loan smoothly, in a timely manner with no problems (at least they let us feel that way). We can now say that our hearts are definitely “in it”, we stayed within our budget and we are extremely happy and satisfied.

We thought that after Dorit delivered the keys to our new home her job was completed. But for her the journey will not end until we move-in, after all the remodeling we are planning to do will be completed. She keeps holding our hands by guiding and advising through the process of the remodeling. She has a wide network of connections with loyal professionals - just about anything related to the house. Thanks to Dorit’s great team of professionals, our renovations are possible and affordable. We are thrilled and very happy with our new home purchase In Sunnyvale.
