Derek is the best Realtor in the Salt Lake area! Even though we have a few friends and acquaintances who are realtors and of course, wanted our business, we still decided to use Derek for the second time since he did a great job when we had to sell our house years ago during the recession. This time we were ready to buy the perfect home and Derek was very patient with us. He never rushed us to buy a home in this crazy sellers market and he respected our time and helped us to make the right decision at the right time even though it took us about a year to find the perfect house. He’s very knowledgeable about the market, house location, and he will do everything he can to get you the best deal on a house since he has excellent negotiating skills when dealing with sellers and even with the bank. Derek was incredible. He negotiated well on our behalf and also sold our house so fast. He really handled everything and made this so painless. I would recommend him as truly a phenomenal realtor.

In addition, before selling our home, he managed it as a rental and that was a dream process. He was identified amazing tenants, handled all needed repairs as they came up.

Derek has done an incredible job as both a property manager and realtor. Initially I had him manage my house in UT as a rental property while I took a job out of state. With very little effort on my part he found tenants at a great rate and only took a very reasonable fee for managing the property. He was very communicative and always confirmed any necessary repairs on the property with me before proceeding. When I decided to sell the house once again Derek made the process practically pain free. We worked to determine a price that was fair and I even thought might have been a little high. He then proceeded to find buyers and sold the house at asking price. I have been thoroughly impressed with Derek's abilities to negotiate, facilitate, and most importantly sell! I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Derek helped us several years ago in the sale of my mother-in-law's home and did such an outstanding job, we jumped to use him again with the sale of my parent's home. Derek's performance was better than ever in his preparation before the initial visit, the communication throughout the process, and helping get past any hurdles that arose. He is tops in understanding the market and how to price for sale. And we knew up front what to expect as the final settlement - in both experiences he was pretty close. I can truly say from start to finish I knew he was working for us.

I almost wish my friends would sell their homes so we could recommend Derek as their agent.
