Derek is honest, transparent, kind, knows the real estate business, forthcoming with every necessary detail, helpful with where to get answers to questions outside of his field, accurate with estimates, accurate with timelines, and he is patient and peaceful. I trust Derek to handle all aspects of my real estate and property management requirements. At this point, we have no such needs, so I will miss talking and working with Derek. It has been a wonderful experience.

Working with Derek made the process of selling our house a breeze! We had tried for two months to sell our home by owner. During that time we had eight showings and realtors who tried to push us around a bit. We have known Derek for quite some time, and we knew we wanted to take advantage of his expertise if/when we decided to use a realtor.
After we decided to officially list on the MLS, Derek had us listed within a day of giving him notice! We were immediately impressed with his professional agility. Derek's strategies got us 12 showings within the first three days of listing, produced three offers over asking price within three days of listing, and we were under contract within five days. Derek is the best Realtor in the Salt Lake area! Even though we have a few friends and acquaintances who are realtors and of course, wanted our business, we still decided to use Derek for the second time since he did a great job when we had to sell our house years ago during the recession. This time we were ready to buy the perfect home and Derek was very patient with us. He never rushed us to buy a home in this crazy sellers market and he respected our time and helped us to make the right decision at the right time even though it took us about a year to find the perfect house. He’s very knowledgeable about the market, house location, and he will do everything he can to get you the best deal on a house since he has excellent negotiating skills when dealing with sellers and even with the bank. Derek was incredible. He negotiated well on our behalf and also sold our house so fast. He really handled everything and made this so painless. I would recommend him as truly a phenomenal realtor.
