We really loved working with Mini. We felt like she really understood what kind of home we were looking for, which was challenging as we were not completely aligned ourselves :) Mini was also very available to spend time together and discuss, which was really helpful for first time buyers. It was a pleasure working with Mini and her team on the sale of our home. We appreciated the advice and patience she provided navigating the market during the uncertain times created by the pandemic. We appreciated everything from working with us on what to do (and not do) to get our house ready for market; lining up the vendors; pushing pause when the shelter in place order went into effect; modifying plans and moving ahead once real estate got the go ahead to move forward; and following safe pandemic protocols during the sale of our home. Mini and I met through an open house in Feb 2020. Shortly after that, bay area was hit by COVID-19. It was a time with a lot of uncertainty and anxiety. I hardly imagine getting the deal closed in a short period of time without her help.

Living in bay area for more than 5 years, It's my dream to have a home in Los Altos . However, the house hunting process can be both exciting and intimidating. Mini made it a fun. With her knowledge and connections, the Friday house hunting became what I was looking for every weekend. It was through this process, Mini and Kuljeet gave valuable feedback on the details and options we should be looking for.

What really makes Mini standing out is her patience, empathy and ability to connect to people. I personally learned a lot from her. Not mention her expertise in the Los Altos and connection to the right people. I am grateful for the day we met. She took a genuine interest in who we are, the needs of our family, and what we were looking for. She is a seasoned pro and helped guide us through the whole process successfully. She demonstrated her deep understanding of the local market early on and was spot on in terms of how to handle the bidding process. We approached Mini and Kuljeet after reading their reviews online. Being first time home-buyers we were not very familiar with the process, and were looking for good realtors. We were very impressed with the excellent reviews, and felt confident about working with Mini and Kuljeet, after a brief telephone conversation. This confidence, and trust was further augmented after meeting them in person. They both worked with us as a team. They showed us various houses, along with the upside and drawbacks of different properties. They both have been very accessible and responsive, irrespective of the time of the day.We felt very comfortable working with them, and never felt pressured into making an offer. They were with us every step of the way, and made the process as stress free as possible. Even after our move, they offered us practical solutions and advice multiple times. I would highly recommend Mini and Kuljeet to anyone who is looking for a pleasant, professional and friendly team to work with.

Teaming with Mini to buy our new home was one of our decisions. We have worked with a couple of agents in the past and were relative happy with them but what Mini brought to the table was completely unimaginable. We wanted to move from San Jose to Mountain View/Los Altos area to cut down our commute time. Looking in this area shortly made us realize that our old agents won't work & we needed an expert. That's how we stumbled upon the Troyer group & Mini Kalkat.
Within the first two meets, we realized that she was an expert. She knows this area (Mountain View & Los Altos) in & out and her team closes most of the deals out here so it sort of a no brainer to go with her.
She's was very quick in understanding requirements, makes quick calls and an extremely friendly person to get along with. She was super transparent with the whole process. She used to discuss in detail on how she came up with the offer price, how she's going to negotiate (in case of a counter offer) with specific reasons.
The best part is along with the real estate knowledge, she also knew quite a bit about renovation & house building process. She would clearly help us visualize on how a house would look with minimal renovation and how much it would cost approximately. She has a full team to take care of any renovation work needed. She also works with the best loan agent. We were totally covered with the whole process.

She helped us sell our house in San Jose, rent back for a short bit and buy the new home in Los Altos. All this in a super tight schedule. I personally don't believe it was possible with a different agent. Our strong requirement to have a move in ready was making it a lot more harder in this area but Mini made it happen.
She works hard and comes with extensive knowledge & experience. I would completely trust Mini for all our future real estate transactions.

Mini Kalkat was great to work with! She knows the competitive landscape, what it takes to purchase in this area and is well connected in the area. She really went out of her way to to get to know us, our needs and constraints. Additionally, Mini was very patient with us as we went through the bidding cycles and let us take the lead, while still advising us on the market conditions. We recommend working with Mini if you are looking to buy in the Mountain View, Los Altos, etc. areas!

We worked with Mini and Kuljeet to buy our first home. They are one of the best in the area and know the bay area market very well. Mini and Kuljeet work together as a team. It's like you have two realtors helping you at the same time!

Once we started working together, we saw many houses together to narrow down on our requirements and neighborhoods and also saw many houses before they came on market. We were in constant communication on the new houses coming on the market.

As we got closer to putting in an offer, Mini worked with my lender to understand our comfort zone, ensured we won't have trouble availing loan for our target price, went over every little detail in the disclosures with us and put in the strongest offer.

They have a vast network of contacts: general contractors, handyman, termite treatment companies, carpet installation shops. We reached out to many to get help with estimates and we continue to do so today.

I highly recommend working with Mini and Kuljeet!

Mini Kalkat is the real estate agent you want in an ultra-competitive market as a buyer (Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View). We were well versed in the market using the usual online apps, and living in the local neighborhood. We have friends who are agents, but we chose Mini in the end (despite feeling sorry to our friends) and we are happy with our decision. Her assets include the following:

1) Mini has the most updated information on the market due to her extensive local connections. This is paramount to knowing your competition, and she frequently made direct phone calls to the right people to get the necessary information for a successful offer.
2) Mini knows what you need to do to get your house, but she works within your comfort level to maximize your success. She gave you honest information, yet she was supportive of whatever we decided.
3) Mini was direct about the positives and negatives of each house, giving her perspective of how other buyers would see the house. She was able to integrate our preferences very quickly so as to show us only houses we would possibly like.
4) Mini was very well respected in the community. Several times other agents would comment about how honest and good Mini is at her job, all out of her earshot. That reinforced our desire to have an “inside person” on our team.
5) Mini was very nice and responsive to us. We had countless emails exchanges as late as after 9PM.
6) In the end, it was just very comfortable working with Mini.

Most importantly, we got our house after only our second offering, after we had been casually surveying the market for several months. In a buyers market, online apps are probably enough. In a sellers market, Mini is who you need if you want to successfully buy a house.

We worked with Mini for 2 months to seek a home in Los Altos in a tough market. She was easily accessible and patient as she helped us to learn the market. She knows the neighborhood extremely well and her easy going nature put us as ease right away. She put in a lot of effort to understand our needs and likes and within a very short time, we developed a strong rapport. In every offer we made, she did everything she could to present a strong case on our behalf and earned our trust; she also kept us abreast of the updates in a timely manner and was very easy to contact and chat with any time of day no matter how late. When evaluating potential properties, she also went the extra length to connect us with a contractor to get expert advice from. We now have a home in the neighborhood and schools we sought, and a lot of the credit goes to Mini.

Mini did a great job helping me get my new home! She's very professional, reliable, does things in a timely manner and, above all, is a very pleasant person to deal with. Being a first-time homebuyer, many aspects of the real estate market weren't well known to me. Mini explained a lot of things to me in great detail so I could make a reasonable choice.
